Here's a fun bonus shot for lovers of the four-legged, non-droid sort of cat. Note that this panel stands separate from the story-line. Chaos Incarnate informs me that a stand-alone segment is called an omake. So this is *drumroll* Omake #1! *bum-tsh*
"Is he a cat toy?" Anyways, I need to check through what you got so far and then comment again and all that. Looks nice enough... Oh yeah, the part with Megatron here just...
Once again, I find myself gobsmacked by the cuteness of another Mao (especially those poses with Ops carrying her up). It's a delightful feeling.
You can expect lots of this kind of pose from Mao from my strips, and oodles of cuteness. She will also play a regular role. Kind of like how Sari does in T.F.A., only without a Key and without being so... well, Sari.
What a delightful way to lighten the life of a depressed old lady! You have a mavelous sence of humor and you camera work is first rate! The story is enchanting and I can't wait to see more!...LOVE Mao!
Thank you! The characters of Ratchet and Prime are inspired by their cartoon counterparts, although with their personality traits slightly amped-up, and with some added incompetence for humor’s sake. And Mao is... well, Mao, although she has mysteriously stopped saying ‘nya’ for the moment. I guess her Type Cat base programming was overriden by the sight of massive robots which look like cat toys. The lighting in my room is of the fixed overhead variety, with the bulb at the center of the ceiling. I don’t actually have a desk lamp, and my camera stand is a stack of small cardboard boxes and a roll of toilet paper, so I guess I could be making improvements in places.
Did you catch the 1986 movie quote in the first omake, too? I *so* need to find a suitably-sized ball of wool for Mao, otherwise she’ll start pouncing all over transformers and batting their heads around. Hey, there’s a thought... LANDMINE! *grin*
Mao's not so timid as she looks. Edit: Well, so much for my hope of limiting the number of strip segments I post. Seem to be on a roll, here. It’s all Mao’s fault. Yeah.
