Anybody ever use this? Will it even work on plastic? And if so, would it be best to prime with a dark color, white, or something else?

The X Metals paint is a two part paint. You have to use the "base coat" and then the color (that you choose) to get the effect that the cap shows.

I used it on my Alt Black Widow

I used this stuff on the TFTM Ultra Magnus I did. Nice stuff, but a process like PK said. Here's a pic of the custom, the parts in red were this paint.

I could never find the base coat it asked for on the label. My WalMarts only carry the Colors

    Question....

    Hey frenzy_rumble,

would not regular colors or Fusion work?
If not, where do you get the "Base Coat" colors that are required?

I'm interested in this as well.

Yeah, I din't see anything like that either. All they had was purple at the Walmart I went too. Do I have to order it online? Or should I try another Walmart or somewhere like Home Depot?

I didn't use anything special underneath them. When I did UM, I used spray cans, not the air brush, and recall just base coating with Red pepper (I think that's the name) it's a fusion red...

The base coat is a grey color. I've found it and the "colors" at Walmart and Kmart
