i was just thinking and i feel like i read it somewhere that they might be coming out with packs of kreons. sold as a few figures together.

is this true? or just wishful thinking?

Probably wishful thinking. I think they know that the Kreons really help sell the big packs. I haven't heard anything either way but I don't see it happening. I'd love it, though. WANT SOUNDWAVE.

No plans yet. I doubt they will. Some people get the Kre-Os just for the Kreons, and they'll lose sales on the Kre-Os if people get what they actually want for a few pounds/dollars.

Haha, I only want the big packs for the Kre-ons. Luckily I can pawn off the fake-lego on the kids and keep the Kre-ons after I've built the set.

I only ever bought into these for the Kreons, the head sculpts, and a few parts that I could use for custom fodder. They're pretty much worthless without the little guys. I only purchased Prowl and Jazz while on sale at TRU. I can't make myself pick up the others because I'd have so much worthless plastic to unload.

I'd imagine we'll be seeing individual Kreons in blind bags eventually.

The blind bag model works amazingly well for both Lego and Mega Bloks, and it's only logical for Kre-O to eventually follow suit.

That said, I do thoroughly recommend you guys pick up a Kre-O set or two. They are a lot more fun than people generally realize.

I second this motion. The Kre-O sets really are cool and fun to build.

    Ebay:
just bought a mirage ke-o set today. no kreons inside! guessing someone wanted them and returned the rest of the set. i'm thinking kreon packs would definitely sell.

bought jazz a few weeks ago and it's pretty cool. planning on getting megatron and sentinel prime eventually.

Actually, now that I think about it, Kreon packs would be a great way for Hasbro to keep more obscure trademarks.

Hasbro has traditionally had difficulty with keeping the trademarks to the names of its various characters, having lost many trademarks over the years due to a lack of use.

Kreon packs would be a really great way for Hasbro to keep the trademarks of its more obscure characters without having to make full on toys of them which might not sell well. Also, it's a good way to keep these names in the general public consciousness.
