Scorponok - insert the inevitable joke that he always does about the story having a sting in the tail.
Please do let us know. I've been waiting on this information for days, but nobody seems to have gotten their case in yet.
BBTS listing does say 12 figures but it shows the preview wave. i would assume that it is the preview wave and not the first real wave which doesn't release until 2013. i think i'm going to get a case. I'm sure a bunch of my pals would just like to buy the full set from me and not have to buy bag after bag. I did see the listing on HTS. They're selling that case at retail versus BBTS pricing which is probably a vendor price.
Except that 32 from BBTS = $75 + shipping where HTS wants $95 + shipping. HTS is WAY more expensive. I'll buy a full set from you if you order them. Let me know if you'd be interested in that b/c I want to nab a whole set without worrying about crappy distribution.
The case just walked in the door from BBTS as I was walking out to go home. It is in fact the "Preview Wave" packaging, even though the exterior box says Wave 1 When I get home, I will open up each bag to get an assortment breakdown posted
OK, just got done taking some pictures of the cases and opening the figures. Interesting case breakdown to say the least First the pictures Then out of the 32 figures and using the numbers imprinted on each outer bag: 21451 1 Scorponok x 6 21451 2 Waspinator x 6 21371 7 Spinister x 6 21451 9 Sunstorm x 6 21451 0 Crankshaft x 4 21451 8 Galvatron x 4 I really would have thought for a case of 32 figures, it would be 5 sets of 6 and 2 extra
The vehicle forms aren't good (not sure how much you can expect for building something around a mini-figure at that scale), but they add fiddle-value and something to distinguish them from other blind-bag figures out there. I only wish they added a few more new helmet molds, instead of trying to squeeze a Waspinator out of a Jazz head, for example (I think the movie/Prime-style Bumblebee helmet from the Stealth Bumblebee set would have worked better, myself)
Thanks for the info. I don't mean to imply bad faith by BBTS, but knowing this, they should change their advertising to acknowledge that you only get 6, not the "12 unique kreons figures" they continue to advertise. Glad I only ordered a dozen individuals now. (watch me get like 11 of one now and end up with only two distinct figures).
I think this is EXACTLY I wanted as an adult collector... I really have no interest in the larger build lego versions...they are clunky and awkward and I dont have to time to break them apart and rebuild them. When I want to see the alt modes. Nor do I have the space to diplay them... But these...these are things of art Beautiful, Creative, Ingenuity at its finest. Yea some are not perfect and look partsy. Once alot of these are out, the kitbashing will commence and we will see some really nice creativity from us fans with all these different pieces. Good Lego Times ahead! Btw I reccomend getting the Halo BAttleScape Landscape from target or whereever to display these! It comes with an Awesome huge Landscape of metal and rock. and 3! stands for flying characters/planes. I will try to post some pics later to show yas!
So just curious, do the "codes" we got awhile back still match the "codes" on blind bags so that no groping/fondling of the blind bags is necessary.
Yes, each one has a specific number at the end of their code. 214511=Scorponok 214512=Waspinator 213717=Spinister 214519=Sunstorm 214510=Crankshaft 214518=Galvatron
Yes, but some are different than the ones previously posted: 214510 Crankstart 214511 Scorponok 214512 Waspinator 214517 Spinister - Different 214518 Galvatron 214519 Sunstorm so when they hit stores, there might be different numbers again
Thanks for that. Cancelled some of the extras I had ordered now that I know there are only 6 different ones in the case. Definitely can't wait to have these in hand. So awesome.
The last digit, probably the last two, remain consistent with every figure however, and are so far the only numbers that matter. The earlier numbers likely correlate to the production sequence, no different from the embossed numbers on mainline TFs that people paid attention to during the DOTM Crankcase situation. While the preview wave is hanging around, I wouldn't expect further changes. Just throwing it out there for further confirmation that Reigner's case also had 4x Crankshaft and Galvatron, and numbers were the same.
