I got like 19 from TRU when they were doing the buy over 10$ get one free deal. What happened is the girl at customer service told me she was sick of seeing those and gave me the entire box. Thats a cool find though man because these were never for sale, and were basically "Botcon" exclusives? hehe
They've had these at the K-mart down the road for a month or so, when it rang up at $5 I just put it back. Oddly enough, the whole time they havent had a price tag so they seem to be getting largely ignored.
I think at this point it's safe to say there are more Matrix Primes out in the world than the normal one that comes in the Prime Kre-o set. What was your strategy here exactly, Hasbro?
As for myself as a business person I would have done the same thing. Save them till the promotion was over then charge cha-ching great move K-Mart you are waking up. Good Luck. I do promotional events for companies can't say which companies for legal reasons but a lot of companies believe it is a waste of the resources to offer free items we tell them to make it part of buying other items that are not related to the item being given away and it works because then they buy more of the free promotional item and more of a slower selling item for a little inside look Kreo really is not a big seller only if its on sale.

Oh, I'm not complaining. Just being cheeky. I have the little guy right here on my work computer. He's awesome! You could also get him with any Transformers purchaser from Hasbrotoyshop a month or two back. That's how I got mine!
Dude, I have so many of these fucking things. I actually sold one for $3 ... lightning doesn't strike twice though.
Personally, I think the better deal was when I got the shirt to give to my wifes nephew and the 5 dollar coupon with it. But still cool that it's available to everyone. The packaging works well as a stand for figures.
