YouTube - New Kre-O Transformers & Optimus Prime Review‏
Kreo booth babe was really cute. Cool vid Mandy!
How couldn't agree
Oh common guys,
Not as cute as Mandy. /obvious
Ok OK enough shenanigans from me. Cool Video, I just picked up the Small Prime and Megatron today. Pretty awesome and I need that Ultimate Optimus.
Oh and now I can't get that song out of my head, its ridiculous.
I think that goes without saying.

woo! i been waiting for a review of this guy to pop up
With my style of review..it's a bit harder to do reviews on these guys. I gotta build them...then tear em down..then build em again. And sadly, i'm not the quickest at building block assemblies
hah yeah. these arent your regular transformers thats for sure! the build time would definitely make it a bit more of a hassle to review these guys like a regular transformer
but i suppose thats the biggest draw for me
you definitely get your moneys worth, IMO, with all the time you spend building these things. and i think thats awesome
like ya said, the sense of satisfaction afterwards is really rewarding
thanks for video man, nice review. I was going to pick some of these up myself, but I had a bad feeling that family would get me some also for my birthday next month. now I don't feel bad at all if I end up with doubles of some sets! would be pretty awesome to display all the toys in both modes
not a bad idea
four hours.. wow..
please tell me you at least separated all of the pieces before assembly.. i do it by color and by style.. instead of just dumping everything on a table like the baltmatrix bumblebee review.
the whole point of these legos are so that you're able to take your time and take them apart and put them back together.. that's what makes it fun, that's why you pay $60.
Looks fricking incredible. Really tempted by Kreos now, even though I haven't played with Lego for years
The fact that these don't actually transform don't bother me the slightest: if you want transformable robots...buy Transformers! Lego has always been about building and rebuilding.
Does anybody remember BTR?
...Then again the better question is, who wants to remember it?
I find the whole concept of non-transforming lego-alike to be silly, but if you enjoy them have fun. I'd get them for parts to try to build TRANSFORMING toys. I was building TRANSFORMING legos since the 1980s, and they looked better then BTR.
Thanks for the review. I bought the Botcon exclusive from BBTS and my Target shipment of wave 1 Kre-Os should be coming in today. I am PRAYING I get a closed chest Optimus.
If anything, this review will help me to not open the Botcon Kre-O until I confirm the retail version first.
I think I still prefer my fully transforming Lego-like Movie Prime KO... Still beyond me why they can't figure out a way to make Kre-O sets transformable when kids do it on Youtube.
The Kreo fever has struck! I must say they are pretty spiffy. I only have Mirage and Jazz. They only take about 20 mins to build and look much better in person than on the box. I actually do not hate the altmodes. These destroy BTR. Finally someone figured out how to make properly articulated robots.
They might be better than Bionicles.
Looks neat. If got this set, I'd try and work out a way of utilising the base mode as power up armour (and perhaps even try using the motorbikes as rollerblades!).
Can anyone tell me how the quality of the pieces compares to Lego and Megabloks? Lego never seems to fail, but Megabloks bricks can be hit and miss in my (admittedly limited) experience with them!
Better than Megablocks but not as awesome as Legos.
