    Just looking at some of the Kre-O you can tell a lot of the parts are the same as some Lego bricks. The instructions of the Kre-O have parts lists with numbers, and Lego have their own system of part numbers. Has anyone else started a list of translating Kre-O to Lego?

    EDIT

    Okay I'm putting the up to date lists in the first post:

    Bumblebee (basic)

    Optimus Prime (basic)

    It might be a titanic effort but its not hard searching for them (lets say in bricklink.com) if you know which category they're under.

    for eg.

    00014 - 00019 = plate
    00318 ,00319 = inverted slope
    10009 = bracket
    00175 , 00370 = tile
    00290 = wing /wedge
    00447 , 00383 = non existence LEGO equivalent

    I noticed both sides of the Kreo wing parts have the same code. Weird considering they're unique mould/part

    Interesting discovery. I wonder if Mega Bloks does the same too?

    It's a very useful tool for people who make their own models (known as MOCs), especially for complex designs that need lots of parts that have to be ordered.

    I started work on parting out the smaller Bumblebee toy with Lego part numbers. Lego part numbers in red, Kre-O part numbers in black. Anyone know any of the ones I'm missing?

    So we could rebuild our Kreo sets with substituted Lego bricks. But that opens a whole can of techno worms in the face of Lego Elitists.

    Since this is the current Kreo thread.

    Let me mention it is a royal pain trying to seperate the kreo pices once they've been assembled. trying to pull them apart to change the modes or if a mistake is made isn't a easy task.

    I recently this month put together vortex & last years Starscream. not having the same exact forearms design looks horrible. I had to buy Two sets of each character toy just to create left & right forearms that looked the same.

    I was specifically considering making sets with color substitutions. Bumblebee in blue as Glyph, Mirage in yellow as Drag Strip, or Prowl in grey as Bluestreak. That sort of thing. Hay, maybe even Basic Optimus Prime in black (Nemesis Prime), white (Ultra Magnus), or blue (Powered Convoy).
