I didn't see this reported before, but at Costco today I saw Kre-O 2 packs for $21.99. You either get Megatron and Sideswipe, or Starscream and Prowl. They looked to be just the normal releases put together with shrink material.

Great deal! For those of you who scoff at Kre-O (like I used to) and/ or have kids, Kre-Os are a lot of fun to put together. Give 'em a try.

I'm considering getting them just for customizing parts to try to make actual TRANSFORMING brick sets at that price.

You COULD just get them on clearance at Wal Mart

Cheaper still at costco. Some walmarts don't have low clearance prices.

Kmart had a really good deal on them when they had 50% off clearance toys. I believe (if you can find it) you can still find megatron for 13 and starscream for 6.50.

K-Mart had the Megatron and Sentinel sets for $6.50 and $9, respectively. Walmart's clearance prices on the 2011 sets are kind of a joke by comparison. The best option beyond K-Mart might be TRU's BOGO50%, which may or may not be going on anymore. Still potentially cheaper than Costco's plus you don't have to buy one set to get the other.

Target also had a few sets on clearance but I'm not sure what the prices were.

Hopefully the shrinkwrap means the Kreons inside will be harder to steal.

I saw these at a MN Costco this morning and literally stopped in my tracks as I didn't expect them to have anything Transformers related. Seems to be a pretty good price for the pair, but I'll likely wait for them to go on clearance.

Little update, Costco has lowered the price of the 2-packs to a mere $14.99! Moreover, since Costco keeps records of all your purchases, if you ask you can get them to retroactively give you the lower price at the members service desk. I went over and got my $14 back for the two I had previously purchased at $21.99.
