Hey guys, normally I don't post preliminary work for a custom, but I thought that I'd share this digibash. I never spend much time on the digibash itself when making a custom; I merely want to get an idea jotted down. This is the same case here. I have to also admit my hesitation for sharing this digibash was partly due to the subject matter. I just like the visuals of the character and such, not everything else that goes along with it. If you haven't a clue as to what I'm talking about, you're not only blessed, but you'll have to find out more about Kiss Players from another source (such as Transformers wikia). Anyways, this is pretty simple: silver Decepticharge (and yes, I did use an image of Overdrive/Windcharger for my digibash) with a G2 Megs head. I'd like to also do the odd-looking headlight assembly found in the KP manga illustrations, but we'll see. This project is on the back-burner right now (and has been for a while as this digibash is pretty old), but it is on my "to-do" list so it will get made eventually.
I hope to god that you're not thinking of having him have that Venom-esque tongue that kinda looks like well you know. Because that would make it look disturbing. Shivers
Hahah, Ive been meaning to do the same thing with a spare S2000 and a Heroes Megatron head. . . sadly I don't have the extra cash to grab either S2000 mold. -.- But the tongue is what makes it Legion! D=
I think its safe to say that I know SQ7, and I doubt he'll do more than what you see in the actual digibash there, and possibly the aforementioned headlight assembly.
I know, but without looking like a man's one-eyed snake. Sorry for saying that, but it does. But nevermind do whatever, SQ7. I think its cool.
Hey, I just got an idea maybe make another head so this figure has an interchangeable one, you know one thats what we seen and the other the long tongue, insane looking one. I think that would be cool.
You hope is properly placed. While "the tongue" is part of what many associate with "Legion", it's one element I'd like to disassociate myself with (and other certain pedophilic elements that I'd like to distance myself from). You'd be correct, sir. Normally, when I've moved to the stage of settling on a plan in a form such as a digibash like this, the actual product will deviate very slightly (if at all) from the original plan. A lot of my work is in the conceptual and the preliminary processes of creating a custom. Planning is half of the fun!
You feel the same way. When I saw that I said, "OMFG!!, They can't be serious that con has a tongue that looks like a @&#^!" anywho I made a suggestion in my previous post about any interchangeable head, but I realize that its your custom and I'm of what he/it looks like.
well it doesn't exactly have to look the way the "Phalic Tenticle" looks in the comic but maybe a mechcanical whip like tenticle like on that red outfited russian bad guy with yellow hair from the X-men universe (Forgot his name) he had two Tenticles that came from ether his arm or palm. and it had a pointy tip which would work if you wanted to avoid the Phalic look... And what's the headlight mod?
You're thinking of Omega Red. So there you go. Man, looking back at this thread I"ve realize that well Legion does need that tongue, but without it well its cool to me either way. Besides its legion for crying out loud.
