Hola, does anyone know the standard shipping time for a KoToys order to the US? Im guessing about 2 weeks?
Mind you this is before KOtoys, but I've gotten my stuff from Mike in a week. Also keep in mind that I live in Seattle.
I've got my stuff in as quick as 2 weeks...sometimes sooner. I think the longest I've had to wait was 3 weeks.
2-3 weeks to Brooklyn, NY. But why would you want KOtoys crap? A few months ago when there were no Thundercrackers ANYWHERE, I ordered from KOtoys. I had high hopes of doing a custom Thundercracker from KOtoys halfway painted one. Thundercracker arrived with his chest smashed in. He also broke apart upon the first transformation.
Got my last order in about 2-3 weeks, East Coast USA here. 1984forever- KO's are KO's. Quality ranges from abysmal to awesome, sometimes within a single case of identical figures. As long as you understand that going in, theres a LOT of charm and/or utility to be had in collecting KO's for sheer novelty or for use in customs. Between scale changes, interesting color variants, and new sculpts, you can reap some good stuff from KO figures. D/L
Ugh. I ordered may 27, recieved a shipping confirmation number on June 7. Im also not sure what shipper they use, it doesn't work on usps.com.
Did you ask him to pack your order loose? It's fairly common for packages shipped to/from China to receive a lot of battering while en route to their destination.
Same here. I've ordered from Mike a couple of times and it took about two weeks for the items to arrive. But you have to sign for it if its being delivered by USPS.
It's taken about 2-3 weeks from China to NC. He seems to be a pretty busy guy though. Seems like I have always had to stay on him about "did it ship" "what's my tracking number" etc. He's reliable though from the 2 or 3 transactions I have done with him.
From my experience, the tracking number doesn't work on USPS until it reaches the states.....and if you use the sight that was just provided, most times all it will tell you is that its in customs being processed, or dispatched to its destination. And as previously mentioned, if you're buying a K.O. keep in mind that it's just that, a K.O....quality will be hit or miss. But he does sell legit TF's too, and at some great prices, esp for htf or "not yet released at retail" stuff.
My first order took about 6 weeks, and my second, about 3 and a half. The second time they sent me the wrong stuff. I'm not having much luck with it, I'm afraid.
I am THINKING that my tracking number actually worked on USPS's website even while it was still in China.... but the other link posted in this thread ( Boxoh universal package tracking: UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL with RSS and Maps ) is pretty good as well!! I actually use that one more on foreign shipments.
Rather old thread but question none the less. Would you normally get a tracking # from kotoys if the slower shipping method was selected? Not sure of name but on site I recall it indicated a 3-4 week expected ETA once shipping. Thanks in advance.
