I was recently checking in on my normal sites and I found KOToys!, Your #1 Source for KO Transformers Toys, News, Kustom Kannon Fodder, Forum Discussion, Auctions and more! has been basically shut down by the powers that be (Takara-Hasbro). Am I the only one who is disappointed by this? I understand the necessity of a company to protect their interests, however it seems to me that when a company isn't making a product any longer or has decided to ignore the community that sustained them for so long it doesn't seem right to destroy the group that is listening. Like many of you, I would purchase KO's to use as parts for kitbashing, as it is much cheaper and easier to get a knock-off than the original. Now it is back to the old days of searching ebay or other resources to get the products I need. I do get why this happened and I have to say everyone saw it coming, but it still hurts to see them go.

This was posted a couple weeks ago when they started clearing out their inventory.

They're still open, and their front page talks about products that Mike intends to stock in the future.

He was stirring up drama, nothing more.

There's no evidence that it was shut down by anyone other than Mike, as a means of stirring up interest and getting some sales.
