Can you elaborate what you did please.

I looked at the toy and the only way I could see to get the right hand out without hammering the pin out was to heat the part up to make the plastic flexible and then lever the old part out.

As for the left hand the same might work - or it might be easier to strike the pin (heating helps).

I'm like some more feedback on others experiences before I decide to buy since eventually i'll need multiple sets of these hands - especially if they make a Thundercracker sometime.

One additional question are they still running the repaint with no hose accessory or did anyone ever get a hose with it. ?

 

For the left hand you can undo the screw at the elbow then lift the outer half of the forearm outwards and off the pin. To do this you have to flex the plastic a bit but it can easily handle it. After the outer half of the forearm is off you can grip the pin with pliers and work it out slowly. The right hand there was no work around at all, I had to follow the instructions. After the hole is drilled the pin on the right side is easy to punch out. Id add pictures to help explain but I am away for work right now.

 

How much are the hands and where are they sold?

 

I believe mine were 22 Canadian. I'll get the seller one sec.

Is it weird that I want to call this a G2 repaint?

 

I finally got the repaint version. What a drawn-out ordeal (2 out-of-stock order cancellation hassles and a fraudulent eBay seller), but he's so magnificently worth the wait. Looks like the new production run includes a blue hose, too - yay!

 

If I recall correctly both of these colours are in the Last Knight (sort of imply they might not be the same guy - unless it's a colouring error) so I was wondering if anyone noticed if the versions in the Movie - (one of the guys is in the Junk Yard scene and the other hangs around with Megatron). Share the same head ?

I'm trying to figure out who has what head (likewise with the KSI boss too).

Do you mind sharing where you got him. As the only reason I'd not bought one yet is that I didn't want to buy one with no hose. ?

Finally got around to weathering Nitro Zeus... I added rust, scratches, oil stains, and the obligatory bling around his neck.  

 

Anybody ran across the hands for this thing? I waited too long.

Yep. This was their response. So I told them to just give me a $5 refund. It's my last order with them anyway. They always seem to send me an email and ask for more shipping. I bought the oversized Sentinal Prime and they told me they wanted an extra $40 for shipping. This was my last order with them.

Sorry to hear that, would you please mind consider getting a $5 refund or $5 store credit to resolve the problem? Because black mamba's after-sale is really really slow...It will take a long time to get the replacement.

TF Direct sucks ass. I needed a replacement part for Maketoys Giant a few years ago and the email response was "We'll get right on that, so you can put your little toy on the shelf for no one else to see and collect dust while you sit there and act proud of it."

Haven't used 'em since. Don't even remember if I ever got the part.

 

I think this thing got a reissue in 2021 that didn't include the hose, which is why the hose wasn't on newer copies. I saw that this is still in stock on TFSafari thanks to that reissue and it has me kind of tempted. I don't collect OS figures but I could headcanon it as a Bayverse Overlord or something. How's the QC held up on him, has he stood the test of time?
