Any idea if the reissue YM-03 panel lined grey Starscream will have any differences from the first run?

Just ordered one of these from Show Z for $65 on sale. Amazing looking figure at a crazy good price. Thanks for pushing me over the edge, @TCracker .

So....Did someone make 1-for-1 KOs of the MP coneheads with way better tolerances? I had only seen the pin-headed conehead KOs (of...ToyWorld's?), but if there's a way to get improved versions of the MP coneheads I'm in.

C'mon YM/KBB! Do somebody besides the main three!! Hell, Redwings, ferfuckssake!

From what I’ve been told when I inquired from sellers, the fewer quantities available....the “factory/warehouse” (source) hikes the price as it becomes limited. If there’s a stable quantities available....the price remains stable. And the more surplus (if they can’t sell) the price is lower or get lucky and find on sale.

Which is what slowly is happening. I believe the original price was below $80 range? Now they are getting at the $90 range or like Thrust $120!

If I know then how this market works, I wouldn’t acquired the YM Thrust before the price hike....

Even at $120 it is still a better deal than the official Takara MP version.
I guess one can either grab it now while there are still some to grab or wait and hope for a reissue like YM did with Skywarp, Thundercracker, and soon Starscream (supposedly this month).

That was a great deal, thanks again @rubadubspawn especially for making it retroactively applicable for people who had already purchased one or more! All three for almost the price of one from Takara. And better quality.

    Lemme try again:

Did someone make copies of the TakTom coneheads, with improved quality/tolerances?

Heads that were copies of the MP-11 coneheads, but presumably fit onto their versions? Why make them different, then?

I sure wish there were threads for each company and each model...

Amazing that these have gone up in price, they are justified to. Much better than the Takara conehead set

Wasn't that the price to begin with? IIRC I got mine from baba for a less than that when it first dropped. I'm guessing it went up in price since then.

Rub has it for 120. I think TF-Direct as well. I'm not sure what the original price was.

It was definitely under $100 shipped on Ebay.
