So...For someone who doesnt want to go 300 pages to get the jist of it, as far as I undestand these are the way to go as to avoid QC issues with the originals right?

 

Wow, BB7 Substorm looks pretty awesome!

 

There's the KO Tanaka version, KBB version out there, YM gives you WalScream due to compeititon with other ko companies and also copyright from Takara. I think it's unique some what.

 

I'm also in Canada. Usually takes about 2-3 weeks with regular free shipping from my suppliers on every single item (no minimum orders). You can pay an additional $10 if you want to get faster shipping but I always just taking the free route and save your cash for elsewhere

There are different KO versions. Yes Model BB7 versions are generally regarded as the best overall QC and the most toon accurate. KBB has nice toy inspired color versions and are cheaper and come with coronation kits for free, then there are the Takara boxed KO's which aren't generally regarded that high.

I've been helping many members get hooked up with these different kO versions for awhile. See my BST link above.

But really - these have been out for awhile now so you might even have luck finding a second hand one for cheaper if you wanted to go that route. Honestly though, the brand new price is pretty cheap already - so I'd recommend just going brand new. I think my suppliers are sold out of YM BB7 SW and TC but have everything else.

The Clear Purple Rainmaker is out and the yellow Sunstorm is going to be out shortly...

Competition and copyright didn't stop YM from doing their KOs for Skywarp and Thundercracker. The Tanaka KO has terrible quality and the KBB mold is not an option for me. Hopefully YM is saving the MP11 deco as best for last after their Walscream and Aqua/green MP Starscream repaint.

If you already seen what other parties have already released. No point releasing the same thing and expect yours to be better to make sales. I think YM did the right approach by producing something that no one has done it yet on MP scale besides over size screamers.

 

got it   the clear jet mode looks awesome but the flight stand they include is next to useless it wont sit on it , the paint on the landing gear chipped straight away on the edge when i pulled it out

robot mode looks really good but the plastic feels soft i had to tighten the screws on the wings because they were floppy when trying to splay them outwards , theres no pistons in the elbow joints and the elbows feel a bit loose , the null rays are loose

apart from that as i said it looks really good and i hope they do ghost starscream

 

A Ghost SS would have made better sense overall me thinks. Not that this one is bad. I like it, I just cant find the reason to get it besides "Looks Good". I think its more of a niche item for the Seeker Wing collector.

I am NOT interested in seekers beyond the obvious six, but this guy really looks great. I'm not into the coronation kit on bots other than Starscream but again it looks really great here. I don't need this....I don't need this....

 

The resale value of the i-gear may have been a driving factor. Or maybe Chinese collectors are just mad for it! (We think we're the main audience, but we're not lol)
Bensollectables said in his Sunstorm review that BB7 are creating a Ghost SS and Acidstorm. Might pay to ask him on FB to elaborate

Beautiful artwork but not sure I'd want my G1 MPs to look like that, it's nothing like how they actually looked in toon or toy form. Very cool though, as a sort of one-off special item you might display on its own.
