:p :D  By some people's logic, we're all good: our first look at YM-07 was a transformation video and it was fine, so there's absolutely no reason to worry about any of them. Our first look at YM-03 is a pile of broken shit, so we must worry about all of them.

So, is the clear purple seeker YM-07 or YM-08? I have seen it referred to as both.

I've never seen it as YM-08, my order says 07 and that's all I've seen at the few places that carried it.

Thanks for your reply Bots and bits. I also think something is fishy with the reports of breakage but i hope it gets clear when more people receive their copy. By the way, do you know the reaction on the chinese forums to the reports?

    Quote from Jack Chan

To shed some light on the source of these pictures,
I sent my supplier these pictures with the purpose of asking if it's rampant and lo and behold! I was told he was the seller of this particular piece in the pictures.
(Apparently he was able to identify this as the buyer sent him the same pictures but do take this info with a pinch of salt)
To cut a long story short, it was found that the damage was caused by excessive force (there were *hints* that handling by a young human was the cause).

Again, do take this with a pinch of salt!

It looks like someone brute forced it so that's not surprising. Good news though, hope it's isolated to that and not an actual materials issue.

Man, I really don't know what to do. I had my heart set on a KO TT MP-11 Starscream just like YM Skywarp and Thundercracker. Starscream finally arrives and he's got black tipped null rays, gold and silver paint on the innards of his shoulder/neck parts, and he's lighter grey, verging on white... why? This seems like an odd choice considering the previous YM KO's.

I was set to get all 6 of the YM seekers but this choice of colour (and both YM and TT randomly deciding to do Dirge grey instead of black like Ramjet and Thrust) has me sitting on just 2.

I'm tempted to pick up the TT Starscream KO but they quality seems too poor, and I hear the TT seekers, despite their insane prices, aren't much better.

It may have been if all the kbb molds were toon accurate, but I'm a little ocd with these things and it'll drive me crazy that his waist wont match the other two and his the back flap is above his head.

I guess I just cant get my head around why they wouldn't make a set a complete matching set. Like a set of toon accurate from one company, a set of toy accuracy from another, or their own thing for a whole set etc.

I think the grey on Dirge looks great. I'd love to see a complete set of coneheads with that colour... but 1 of a set of 3? I don't get it.

You may be right. I spoke with YM today, they said they haven't been contacted by any customer, seller or supplier about anything yet other than stock levels.
YM also said the "Model is no different to others" in regards to plastic/build.

Western customers should start receiving these in the next few days, so we'll know for sure soon enough ^_^

Has anyone taken an MP11 apart? I see a lot of painted customs, I wonder how easy these things are to take apart and put back together.

I'm toying with the idea of getting a KO TT screamer and a KBB one and switching the waist and back piece so that I have a good quality (KBB for the bulk of the mold) TT Starscream.

Havent got an MP11 in front of me right now to examine. Can most if it comfortable unscrew?

the biggest problem is taking the screw covers out on the shoulders and lower legs on the official seekers not sure about the ko's , apart from that they are easy to strip down to paint

Thanks for that. I'll prob grab a KBB, see how I fair with that. Worse case of I struggle, I'll just keep that.

    Thanks again

I'm not the authority on this as I don't have KBB, but it's a mash of MP03 and MP11, so the waist, etc. may not be 1:1 to replace. Maybe someone else can chime in before you purchase?

Mine should be here by the weekend, possibly early next week if Fedex is slow. Looking forward to it! Walscream just doesn't cut it and I don't consider my Seekers complete without a proper MP-11 like this. :)
