Hi there, I am looking to get one of these sets but would like to know the differences. I have read that the Korean one is the same? Does it have the clear windows as well? Any info would be great. Typo in the title it should be VS.
As far as I know, there isn't a difference visually. I don't notice anything other than the Korean being the cheaper one between the two.
The quality is the same. People have some misconception that Takara products are superior, so the premium on Korean items is lower. But the toy inside is exactly the same, which basically means their ignorance is allowing collectors to get the same toy for a lower price. Which is great for us! The only Korean TFs I'm aware of that are different from the originals is Black Convoy and Brave Max. On Brave Max, the only difference is that the Autobot sticker is upside down. It's an odd difference, but it's like that on all of them. Black Convoy, though, is different from both the Takara BC and the Hasbro Scourge. I don't remember the exact differences offhand, except that he has red windows instead of the Takara's pink

I have Sonokong JRX. Love it. Quality is excellent. Clear windows like the Takara version. The only thing I have noticed with Sonokong is the packages are a little flimsy, the bio cards are on cheap cardboard and the bio cards are random. You may not get the bio of the toy you bought. The toys themselves are Great!!!
