Well they are releasing the arcade versions and not the NES versions, so I don't know if that code will apply any longer.

Needs more Gyruss and I wouldent like to play Track and Field on something as fragile as a handheld, but sounds cool otherwise.

I think Konami is well aware of the infamy of the code and if its not in there... well if I were a magazine reviewer, i'd knock a point off the score.

I agree. Castlevania has enough games to warrant several volumes of collections.

I hope it has some other classics like Castlevania, etc as well since Contra and Gradois are the only two of those I really like.

This sounds like an awesome collection and I will definitely buy it, but I wish Konami would wise up and realize that they're sitting on a gold mine with their NES stuff. I liked Contra in the arcade, but I prefer the NES version, crappier graphics and all. Konami was arguably THE premier third party publisher for much of the NES's reign over the industry, and I'd like to see them put out some NES collections for DS. They may do them for the Wii Virtual Console, and that's awesome, but I would buy them twice if I could play them on the go too.

There was a small release a few years back on PC, that had CastleVania 1 and 2 on it.
