Will the ko wheeljack drop the value of the original? How much does an original usually go for. How much play wear is acceptable. Im in the market for a Wheeljack but am on the fence about KO's. I think I should just buy an original so what is a fair price for loose, MIB. Thanks

KO Wheeljack will probably drop the price for original loose Wheeljack figures. MISB original Wheeljack maybe, and then not much. Depending on the quality of the KO version I think it would be better to get the MISB KO instead of a loose original.

A loose Wheeljack complete in C-8 or better condition usually goes for a bill.
($100.00)I've seen boxed completes go for about a bill or two bills. So far the K/O have not really dropped the value of Swoop or Mirage or any of the cassettes. But has made a very noticable drop in Prime.I've not personally seen a K/O in person so I can't really give you any info on them.Other then the fact it is a bootleg.

Considering the KO's usually sell for 70.00, or more like the new KO Dinobots I think I might look for a real one. What is acceptable c-8 condition?

If this KO Wheeljack will be like Swoop, I'd be getting a real one. But if it's like the new Mirage KO, I see no point in paying 100 greens, when you can get a new pristine, complete one for 30 bucks less. But that's just me.

It's like Colt SAA replicas. They're aren't made by Colt, but they sure are like the original, and beat the original in safety department.

Sorry didnt read the post through, but even for 70.00, I think id rather pay the extra 30.00 and get a real one, I guess I see it as a small part of toy history.

    Agreed 100%...I wouldn't pay over $10.00 for a KO...

I've only purchased one so far (KO Defensor) and that was only $6.00...

To each his own. To tell you the truth I think calling these new KO G1 tfs that are coming out KOs doesn't sound right, I think calling them replicas is all right.

Mirage looks veeerryyy good in pictures and so do the dinobots. The only problem for me is the price. If they were 30.00 id be all over them (while also buying some originals) but the price is just to hight for a KO, Replica whatever.

Yeah, you're right. $70 is too much for a deluxe KO figure. I can stomach OP having that price, he's about $65 last time I checked. But more than $30-35 for a deluxe KO G1 figure is over the top.

And then it hit us. Encore Mirage, Dinobots and Wheeljack. (Hoping)

Ok, here is the truth. The price for Swoop did drop dramatically. You can get a vintage complete Swoop for around $75 where they were up as high as $150. That's a drop of 50%!!! Mirage has also dropped as a vintage one would go for around $65 now goes for around $35. Once again almost 50%. Yes the price of Wheeljack will drop I would say probably by at least 25% if not more. The quality of Mirage is outstanding and I expect anything made after will have the same quality. Finally, you probably will not find a reissue / ko Wheeljack for $30. None of the Kos have been priced under $50 at the start but time will tell. If you are willing to wait and don't mind that they are not originals I would say just wait. Worst case senario the price of the vintage goes down enough where you can afford it.

How about Bootlegged? Pirated? Counterfit? I'm strongly against any kind of KnockOff for a lot of reasons but with toys for no other reason than you have no idea how much lead is in the toy because, by its nature, a knockoff is completely unregulated.

I think knockoffs do nothing but hurt the fandom.

they are KOs and nothing else.

I am an orignal dude and want originals. I could not live with myself if I hade a KO in my collection. It makes the collection contaminated.

I dislike any KO for many reason witch I wont go into but hey as they say each to their own.

I thought this figure would be out by now. Sludge and Slag are on eBay and I thought I saw a Snarl too but I may be wrong.
