Ordered a bunch of sets for a group of us in the UK from ioffer.com - the guy's willing to negotiate, which is good!
Well I got my shipping confirmation today for this. Doesn't mean a ton, but it's still a good sign I suppose.

It would have been nice knowing that there was something to wait for. When I first saw people selling them here I was under the impression that they made them themselves - not that they got them from a third party that anyone could have contacted. Maybe I misread what they were saying (which is entirely possible), but it seems kinda shady in retrospect. Anytime I see someone profit off fellow fans that way it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
That, and sharing that info with the fandom. It seems like it just comes down to sharing info about a good deal with fans, or profiting through the fan's ignorance. It's just the American way, I guess.
From what I understand, these have been available (albeit not in large quantities) since December of 2009. I believe that's when the KO alert for them started. If I am incorrect, someone please correct me. However, this is the first I have seen of these with the box and all. I had not seen much prior to a few weeks ago.
I dont really know how widely available that info was on the set. but once people started shelly out 200+, the people that had the third party info started calling them out, and then the third party started selling them directly on the auction sites for the 80 price tag. A couple of people got burned on paying the 200+ price. Kinda sucks...no it really sucks for those people.
Got mine off of Ioffer for $100. Couldn't of got mine at a better time. Broke my original Black Zarak Headmaster waist in half the other day. Going to glue it back together. It was missing an arm anyways so this will be a great replacement.
The Black Zarak figure in that box looks identical to my BZ's vintage figure. Therefore I'm under the impression that the others are identical as well. Does anyone know if their tech spec readouts are the same as the originals? It looks like they ought to be. I sure hope our friend at kotoys.com gets these in. I'd rather get em through him than a random dude on eBay. ~Z

I talked to Shane and he doesn't know if Mike is going to get the giftset. I bought my set straight from the seller. Watch ioffer or ebay. He puts some up every couple days. I'll let you know when I get mine. I'm sure more people will chime in when they get theirs from either site. Glad to help Heroic. Actually I got the tip from a Minnesota board member. So far, he's sold 25 on eBay and about 25 or so on iOffer. That's in a span of less than 2 weeks. I'd say there is a demand for these gift sets.
I think the seller on eBay and the one on iOffer are different sellers. Both has replied to me and the one on eBay said that he doesn't have any white heads while the one on iOffer still had many white head sets to spare. The seller did say that even among the KOs, the white set is still by far rarer and had a limited production run of 100 sets (if that's to be believed). I've read all the comments and replies, including those in Chinese, and it appears to me that the seller seems reliable and is himself a TF collector (and Italy fan where World Cup is concerned). Still, fingers crossed that I'll receive the stuff.
