Hi! I really am looking to get the ko shattered glass rodimus, ko dia commander, or gold convoy from ko toys. The products look great, but i'm a bit worried of the site after reading some reviews. I'm a teen so my folks wouldn't like it if they get ripped off. Would you guys recommend buying from them?

    thanks! really appreciate it! :)

I've ordered from them four separate times and had no problems with shipping at all. The figures I bought were the high quality g1 reissues, so I had no issues with the quality. The henkei seekers I bought were pretty loose, but not terrible. I can't vouch for anything else.

spend $ with them at your own risk...and don't be crying here about getting ripped off if you buy from them...cause they have done that to dozens of folks.

They are shutting down. Get with the times people!

I've gotten stuff from them in the past, no problems whatsoever. Ordering from them now, you're taking your chances.

I've had good and bad transactions with KOToys. I wouldn't take the risk again, personally.

They are shutting down though like others have said so it's a moot point.

They are still open now, so you can still order, so they point is not "moot".

I'd suggest reading the reviews on those figures first. I don't think you'll be very happy....

With that said, he took care of me the couple times I ordered from him. Of course, when I asked for a refund, I had to hunt him down for WEEKS........

Only placed a couple orders, no issues with mine, though as someone mentioned, read the reviews. My Botcon Mirage KO is a turd, but that is not their fault. I was unable to justify ordering this time even though there are some sweet clearance items. With all the stuff coming out from 3rd parties in the near future my TF budget is spent (and trying to save up for MP-10).

Edit: I will say that other folks have had their issues with them over the years that are all well documented, and a going out of business sale is a little scary to me.

I've never had any problems with Mike, before or after starting KOToys. Just put in an order earlier today too, since he's clearing out.

Couldn't remember my KOToys account though, so I just logged in with Paypal.

Rodimus should be fine, DIA Commander is better than the previous two bootleg trailers but still a little looser on the figures than a genuine one - but some people like that the legs are easier to get on an off.
You are probably better off avoiding anything that uses extensive clear plastic or is chromed as they can be weakened.

So for example you could probably play with the Blue Convoy or the Shattered Convoy but the Gold or clear ones are best never touched it's the hips and cab side pieces that tend to break on them. The CHMS jets are mostly OK except the clear ones need special care especially The Clear Starscream and the Black Starscream *that uses fragile clear plastic arm joints*.

You might have trouble getting an e-mail reply at the moment though as they are probably very busy.

Bought an ANI Blackout from them fall last year. They had to be proded to actually ship it.Once i did get it, it was in new condition and actually packed well.

Unless you're willing to sick Paypal on them to sort a quite likely mess out, i'd say don't bother.

Well rodimus is up for 20 and dia commander w/ optimus for 40, and kold gold gold convoy 4 20 which r really good prices and slowest shipping comes down to around 25 bucks
so all 2gether its about 100 bucks.
Does any1 know when they r closing??

Dont be surprised if you get faulty merch then Mike turns ghost and paypal cant get your cash back.

If there are better ways you could spend the cash, id say avoid them.

i might take the risk as the figures r for great prices, but if they r jst tryin to clean their inventory out i think there is a better choice of them atleast shipping out the toys, but ya idk if i wanna risk a 100 bucks
