I was thinking about picking up set of these. They are on ebay for about 240 for 12 seekers. Wondering if anybody on this forum has any reviews or pictures for them out of box. Tried searching the forum but didn't get many hits for it. Thanks.

What KO Seekers? It'd help to be a bit more specific. Have you got a link to an auction so we can see what sets you're referring to?

    I have them all.

I bought them just for the Starscreams, and a sunstorm.

They are fabulous. Hardly can be called Knockoffs. Only problem I have is that the stickers are poorly cut so don't even think about putting the stickers on without an xacto knife handy.

These are so good, they are identical to the G1 seekers except they actually have IMPROVEMENTS! The heads SNAP into place on the cockpit hinge. It's great! There is diecast too, don't forget that!

Interesting. I have seen a couple of pics before, but without comparisons, so I didn't even consider they weren't legit. Interesting that they've done Sunstorm (or unstrom :p ) in their Wave 1. I was trying to make out the Wave 2 stuff, and it looks like Black Starscream, Ghost Starscream and Skywarp; are the other three clear versions of Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge? It's their moulds, but I'm not sure what they've done with the colours.

Thanks for the info so far. How are the quality of the plastics and the packaging quality? The box looks pretty good in the picture but was wondering if they are any good. How are the translucent ones too (i.e. Ghost of Starscream)?

I just got them recently. They are rather good quality, I was impressed. I got both 6-packs but got em for the clear guys (yes Ramrider, the second set is Skywarp, black Starscream, ghost Starscream, ghost Dirge, ghost Ramjet, ghost Thrust), so will be reselling the first 6 pack.

The packaging quality is good too, these guys really don't seem like an unofficial release (oh, and the springs on the missile launchers...too strong!).

You should be able to find them for a bit cheaper than $250 for the 12 of em though.

Oh, and they're considerably smaller than the real G1ers. Closer to wst size than G1 size really, I'd say about 35% of the original size.

Yeah i got the first set when they were first released - still trying to find the cash for the second set but they are fantastic KO's but it was without a doubt the worst stickering experience i've ever had. absolute hell but worth it in the end. plus the feet are 2 different widths so stickers have to be cut individually.

needed some exta glue on some of the stickers, especially the folding chest stickers.

but worth it if you're the patient type.

i asked reprolabels if they would consider having a look at them but he doesn't have time anymore :-(

i think we'd all pay good money for accurate stickers

These KO's sound like a great buy if I can scrounge up money for both sets. It has all the limited edition seekers from TakTomy without all the price. Especially since it sounds like the quality of the toy is improved also....Now if I can just find the money to buy it..... The size is much smaller thought from what it sounds. How does it compare to the Classics mold in size?

There's a seller on Ebay who has the whole set of 12 for 100$ + 50$ shipping.

I've seen people selling each box of 6 for 100$, or the whole set for 250$ or more, which was too rich for my blood, but at that price, it was reasonable enough for me to finally bite.

Thanks to my WST fetish, I've wanted these since I first saw them! (And it's about the only way I'll ever get my hands on a G1 mold Sunstorm..er...Sunstrom, haha!)
