Got a preview copy of the KO Rodimus Kit (as in put him together yourself) from kotoys.com in the mail last week. (Final versions are now shipping out) The one set sent to me was clear: One of the three tree's of parts As usual to help out others I took photos as I put him together and made up instructions for assembly (Benjamin Meyer's Personal Blog: Transformers Rodimus Kit Build Instructions). Took probably five hours to get him together, but that includes time for photographing so if you are just looking to get something to put together with no customizing you can probably do that in less time. Had a lot of fun with him. The kit comes in a number of different colors (clear, clear red, clear black, black, white). I ordered a black and white set and plan on making a custom. Having solid plastic parts in a custom just looks so much nicer than all painted (and so much less work). Unlike the sideswipe kit (which will be coming back soon!) there are no extra heads or anything just the parts that comes with Rodimus.
They are selling it for $28.99 + shipping. Here is a link to the clear black set (the other colors can be found pretty easily): https://kotoys.com/store/index.php?...id=849&zenid=9379cb0add51600aba7936e790fb0110
Is it a snap together kit, or do you have to glue it together? Does it include any hardware (like screws, pins)?
Checkout the link to the instructions. There are a few spots that you need to glue and it comes with screws and pins.
Well as I put it together the bits that were floppy I knew exactly how to tighten so mine is all good. In the future they will be selling put together versions so we will have to see how that quality is.
