Yes, I think it was Zhong Jhin or something like that did a KO. No Micromaster, Metroplex box, and the colour on the red is wrong. That was back in 2008 I think.

Might even have been 2007, I'm sure he came out a while before Encore Metroplex.

I got mine from kotoys.com earlier this year. As said, Metroplex box, no Micromaster(or Micromaster ramp), the red is more of a hot pink. Also mine was missing the detachable shoulder attenna but evidently in place of that in the bag of accessories was an Alternator Prowl arm.

Otherwise it is pretty nice quality, I don't notice much of a difference in "plastic feel" or fit of parts compared to Encore Metroplex. I guess Metrotitan has plastic wheels instead of rubber tires and the helipad hinge doesn't 'lock' in as tightly for robot mode as Encore Metroplex.

It was Zhong Jin, it's also missing the small black ramp for connecting to Micromaster bases.

EDIT: Skim read Edgewise's post, missed he'd already mentioned the ramp.

    Redundant post is redundant.

I have one. Its not too bad, actually. Plastic wheels, though. I actually like the hot pink they used better than the original red. Displays very nice.

I'm not selling mine, but it's no big deal ordering from kotoys.com:
    Metrotitan - G1 KO at KOTOYS.COM

Their shipping is very reasonable. I think their price for Metrotitan is even lower now then when I ordered. I think I paid $65+shipping. Now it's $55+$15 shipping to the US.

That is definitely less than I paid for mine. I think I paid $85.

i have one, and gotta say that the quality is pretty good. it looks really nice next to G1 metroplex, althought the pink took some time getting used to.

KO Metrotitan also has the incorrect front leg color. Its bright white instead of grey. It should be very close to Metroplex's leg color.

I recently was able to get one of these myself. I'm curious if anyone would be so kind to post some kind of comparison photo of the more reddish colors of the real thing v. the KO. I've thought about painting the pinkish parts and I'd like to color match to the original.

It was *not* Zhong Jin. Zhong Jin does most of the high quality knockoffs, but for a brief time Kidi Toys made high quality knockoffs too. They made the Metroplex, Metrotitan and the crappy Devastator.

Does anyone know what the ramp was remolded from? I know the micromaster was a recolored skystalker orange car, so I figure the ramp was lifted from another micromaster base as well. Anyone have any info? My search has come up dry, thanks.

All the Micromaster base ramps with a couple of exceptions used the same generic mold, the exceptions being Skystalker, Countdown (I think, not 100% sure on him) and the "short" ramps on Groundshaker / Skyhopper. So really it's just the "generic" ramp with an added tab on the end.
