I got this is the mail yesterday and i gotta say for a knock-off it's not bad. It's a little larger then the original and for those of you that purchased this to get the weapons well...they are alittle bit too big as well. The bots are alittle loose as well and it doesn't want to fit in all the pegs when in camera mode but on a scale of 10 i give it a 6.5

    It's bigger? Sweet!

Would clear nail polish work on tightening up the looseness?

I've wondered, what's up with these oversized molds? I feel like I've seen so many oversized KO's... these guys, Superion, Energon Arcee, etc. How do these knockoff-makers go about "up-sizing" a mold? I take it they're not reproducing them from scratch, but bigger... that seems like it would be too much trouble.

Good question. I suppose there are a number different ways to do it. One way would be to use a pantograph to physically machine a copy of an item by "tracing" the original. The pantograph also allows you to change the scale on the "copy"

    http://www.maneklalexports.com/English/McTools/Pantograph.htm

A higher tech way to do it may be to laser scan the object into some type of CAD/CAM software, upsize it, and then make the actual "copy" on some type of CNC machine.

Nice! Will have to keep an eye out for this guy as an impulse buy at either TransformersCon or Boton this year. Pretty well done for a KO.
