Nice, but not 85 nice though. They rather could have made an anime version with a G1 boxart. Which reminds me......I was working on that last year.....

I want one. But like others have said, not at that price.

If these are the same guys that did the KO Mirage, maybe we'll see Reflector in toon colors.

With the repros of the retail boxes, a close look could usually indicate if it was real or not.

The mailer box however is rather minimalist.. i can't help but wonder if that will make it more difficult to determine the real thing from the copy.

(The above statement is not intended to support or condemn unlicensed reproductions.)

i got a few months ago a KO spectro and spyglass from the 80's die cast was good and they really could fool you into being the real thing save for some minor details, if these are any close as good they are definitely worth buying.

i might end up painting the ones i have "cartoon acurate" too. good job there

I have an original with the foam tray and instructions, but no white mailer. Was never that interested in obtaining one since it's..just a white box with no displayability. Good thing since I don't see how you could ever tell if you were looking at a real versus a fake now.

That said, wasn't there talk of them making a G1-inspired box (and the G1 Japanese box) for this as well ? I'd be very interested in a completely custom/fake 'G1 box' made to fit the foam tray w/a window that displays the bots..like that badass custom joopsta's got going on there (dig the customized bots, too).
