I really dislike these sellers. I have been taken more than once in my early collecting days. TRANSFORMERS G1 MOSC RAVAGE AND RUMBLE - eBay (item 110370756299 end time Apr-03-09 21:40:01 PDT)
Hmmm, how do you tell these from vintage ones? I only have loose cassettes and I've never seen a MOSC specimen IRL...
Here is a KO FRENZY LASERBEAK too. These people shouls be banned from ebay. Transformers G1 Frenzy & Laserbeak ~MOC - eBay (item 120399171179 end time Apr-05-09 12:46:01 PDT)
Did you report these to ebay ? The more they are reported the better the chance they will be removed..
Ha, that picture is strangely familiar, and I know why too: the seller has a second account which he listed it under before, and had it removed by eBay. Here's the bumblebee he was selling with a new pic, probably to hide the fact the bubble position on the card is unique to the bootleg. Yeah, bootlegs should be discribed as so.Alot of the reason I think they do it on ebay is because they are banned items.Still you have to look at the people they are ripping off.I feel sorry for them.If I were to pay $50.-$100. for a K/O I'd be really pissed off and I'm sure anyone else would be too.
I seriously get pissed w/ bootlegs cos like I said before I had stopped collecting for over 15 years and recently started again and I got duped into paying good money for bootlegs. I do not mind that there are bootlegs I just hate paying G1 money for bootleg products. Another major problem I have seen with ebay is resealing stuff. Too much stuff comes double taped. I know that this may happen at the factory sometimes but too many ebay items are double taped to where it cant be a foactory thing.
man, i saw that earlier this week and i was thinking about purchasing it since i wanted more cassettes, good thing i didn't.
Those bastards preying on us noobs. Me being a noob that is. Makes shopping on ebay even more scary for me.
As well as MG's site: HIGHENDTFS.COM | There's a guide in the TF Toyark: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...ell-new-ko-reissues-apart-authentic-toys.html Buying MISB/MOSC vintage G1 is a pain in the arse these days due to the realistic KO's. If you're ever unsure, post here, and you'll get an answer. Also don't forget to report them to ebay.
Selling them at all is dodgy, but usually they try to use the 'gray area' of uncertainty and vague identification statements to their advantage. These two sellers are that much worse for blatantly stating 'not a KO, an originial' when they know they are flat out lying. Bastards!
