I'm actually interested. I've got MPM and SS here on my desk and I actually like the SS a little better (both are good). So if that's an upscaled SS, it has my attention. That being said, where the $%*# is the upscaled 70's BB? That figure needs it so badly.

 

MPM on the box, SS KO on the inside. It's adding a whole new layer to the illegitimacy that is the world of KO's

Hope the doors being on backward is a mistake. That would be a deal killer. I also can't even imagine how that would work.

 

I'm sure there will be an Overscale MPM Bub-bee too but I'll likely buy this anyway and a complement to the KBB G1 Bee Overscale.

 

Lol I guess somebody has assembled that 3D printed proto incorrectly. They'll figure it out when they try to transform it  .

So, they aren’t making any improvements? I would think upscalibg it that much would allow them to fix certain things- like the hands.

 

All the joints are glued shut on the display. Nobody's fixing anything until after the show, hah.

EDIT: But yeah, changing the title to "KO OS SS-18 Bumblebee" and maybe merging it with the other thread ( Black Mamba KO OS MPM-07 Bumblebee ) would be appreciated.

 

I don't really get the point of this (but if other people like it then fair enough and there obviously is a market). The SS figure is nice, but there's already a bigger figure in MPM-07 that takes advantage of the extra size by tucking away the door wheels and adding more details and hand articulation, none of which this does. The obvious thing to do seems to be to take either SS-18 or MPM-07 and re-engineer the backpack - judging from reactions to both SS-18 and MPM-07, the first company to do that is going to get a fair few sales. But I guess that would require a bit more ingenuity than an upsized KO.

The hands kill it. I dont really like either version but, I'll check it out if its sub $20.

They need to add more black, and tone down the bright silver.

It allows geewunners like me to check these figures out without spending a lot.

I hope they OS Ironhide. I like that one better than that mountain of garbage MPM.
