was kind of hoping (although not expected) that the toyworld g1 head would fit. But looks too big. Does anyone make a CW/UW replacement head? Trying to find a hook for parts is pretty hard. Hoping that jinbao will release the upgrade kit, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

Seeing how they released an upgrade kit for their KO Feral Rex, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility. Just have to be patient.

 

Patience isn’t my strong suit, especially since I’m already in the painting process. I’d rather knock it all out. And yes, one can hope...

 

Its interesting how all the individual bots seem to be bigger than Toyworld's. All it would take for the Jinboa to be as big is the leg extensions and bigger forearm/hands.

 

Careful if buying theses on eBay some rats are selling the NBK set misslisted as the Jinbao one.

 

And it would be glorious. Those are exactly the thoughts going through my brain as I look as the comparison photos.

 

There is a replacement head for the CW/UW Devy, but it’s really small (the same size as the original). I have the DNA upgrade set. I’m not in love with it—it looks decent but it should be a lot bigger in my opinion. It makes the CW Devy better but it’s still just not a good figure IMO.

 

Exactly! Frickin word-spamming.... There are guys in my groups, arguing that they got this set cheaper than others, but they are quoting prices for the NBK sets:/ The whole set for the price of one of these three 2packs? I think they got taken.lol

 

It confirms me that TW has good proportions in combined mode but details and robot/alt-mode are almost always better on jinbao's.

 

I've seen people selling the legit overscales for a bit over $50.00 so $150.00 for the set - but there are people listing a set of NBK for $130.00 - so I think that is what is fooling people - a Set of NBK's really should be more in the $65 to $85.00 range and even cheaper in chinese domestic sources.

I can see a JinBao set being cheaper if it's shipped loose - there is at least one ships loose listing cheap on ebay with the correct pictures and a slightly lower price. Some of the Chinese sellers I've spoke to have said they were planning on offering it as a loose set when all 3 pieces were out. So a cheaper price isn't impossible.

It might be worth pesting someone like FaithtoPack to stock it.

 

Butting in... Mine was preordered in July.
Not going to lie... if my other seller puts theirs up, I'm getting it from them. Jinbao is not known for being quick for another run.
Remembering their Warbotron OS took forever to get another batch.

 

Are we talking just on eBay or in general? Because $150 is about what I ended up paying for all 3 sets loose through an AliExpress seller.

 

$150 seems to be what they 'should be' for the set but some are charging on ebay $65. or more each. perhaps with some small justification if they weight more and cost more wholesale than the previous ones.

But I think EBay + Flash Coupon results in a reasonable enough price if they are something you want to get. I can see them being cheaper 2nd hand or long term though as the others can be got cheaper if you are patient.

 

Set C Arrived from taobao today. Ordered and paid 10 December.





My main issue with the original GT set is the loose hips on long haul in devy mode. It Was held together only by two small tabs on one side of the hip skirts.

JB made slight modifications to the original, with additional locking tabs in the double hinged hip joint. now he’s solid as a rock. one happy Chappy here!  



Now someone please please please OS those 4 alternate heads and leg extensions  

 

The box reads, "No light included". Does that mean the micro board itself was excluded, or that it simply didn't include a cell battery?

 

I wonder when they will start pumping out the repaints
