Competition for a cheaper OS motor master would be welcome, akin to the warbotron, machine boy, ko diecast options.

I think it's mainly due to the peg being molded solid, but with a hollow base. If you grab the wing, there is too much torque at the base:/ Try holding the base when rotating it.

Same problem as TW Burden's rear wheel mounts. These wing pegs should have been completely solid. The screws are too short, the hollow pocket in the peg leaves a breaking point right at the edge of the screw and wing's mating hole, and the screws also seem to be overtightened on assembly.

These were shipped unprotected, and also probably experienced stress in shipment. Also, some people don't seem to realize how the wings are meant to fold, since there were no instructions. My friend Steve asked me why they flipped up. His right wing broke, and Spence supplied me with one that had the same breakage on the left wing.

On a similar note, be careful with the tailfins - such as Slingshot's. I noticed that when I pivoted the tailfin, the screw was moving along with it -it seemed to be tightened against the tailfin itself, and screwing and unscrewing as I rotated the fin. I loosened it, and it's fine.

All of the breakage issues seem to be with the over-engineered wings on Sky Dive/Air Raid (they fold up accordion-style, for robot mode), but the rest of the bots are pretty solid.

And finally, damn I typed more than I meant to........

Would be very curious to see what they did with Motormaster, given the extensive re-shelling of Silverbolt here and the general G1yness...CW Grey Pri..errr..Motormaster is just not a great fit for the character. Were it my ball game, and going to be doing re-shelling anyway...I'd rework Hotspot. Damn near perfect toy generally, already an integrated truck/trailer, and default configuration provides MM's signature Cab-Feet.

PLLLEASE guys, I don't really want to have to make a kit!

    Where can I buy this?

How is the quality? OS TFC Superion? Normal TFC? Normal FT?

Kind of surprised there haven’t been any video reviews of this set. Unless I’m missing something in my YouTube searches.

I can't see them do more than just reshell to a more G1-friendly alt mode. The next best thing to that would be to copy the IDW Motormaster design, where the front cab unfolds to make the legs (with the feet being somewhat like the G1 offering). Latter would be way too heavy a retool... practically a new figure altogether.

That hasn’t necessarily stopped people from reviewing individual members, though.

Maybe because no one gave free bribe samples to the top YouTube reviewers?

It’s actualy pretty similar to the original TFC release in terms of the plastic quality. Not bad by any means, but it feels a little light.

I ended up getting mine in the mail earlier than expected. Maybe I’ll do a review.

I like them. I’m thinking of filling in the hollow bits with styrene and putty. Might give them some KFC MP Roadrage/Loudpedal hands and apply some corrective paint apps.

Ok, first I'll start with saying that these look good....I mean really good.

Sadly however, they're not for me. Had they filled in the biceps and thighs, along with putting a folding panel on the forearm to close those gaps, that would've been awesome. They've already remolded quite a bit on these guys so far, and the fact that those glaring issues were ignored has me scratching my head in disbelief.

Also....buttflaps? How was that thought to be a good idea? They're ugly and are just "there" in bot and limb mode, and were the final nail in the coffin for me sadly.

It's a damn shame too, because I would've gotten these guys had those issues been taken care of.

Nope, but knowing it has thighs like Toyworld's Devy make him an automatic no-buy sight unseen.
