I saw this in another thread, but I'd like to hear some opinions on it, what the quality is like? Classics Nemesis Prime - Classics & Classics 2.0 at KOTOYS.COM Can I transform it if I'm carefull. I imagine if I got it, it would just sit on the shelf with my shadow comander and other SDCC Nemesis 99% of it's life, but I would probably transform it occationally, so I don't want something that will crumble to dust if I'm careful with it.
I've read that the door hinges are brittle and have a tendency to snap off. At least that's what I've heard about the KO Lucky Draws of this mold.
Well, those are the real cheap versions of Prime but the Kold Henkei Black Convoy should be better quality. Mine should be here in 2-3 weeks
I have the version in Pasaway's post. It's....okay, I guess. You won't confuse it for the real thing, but for a KO it's not bad. You won't have any problems transforming it from robot and truck mode, but I wouldn't advise it. Many parts on the original were held in place with large pins, and on the KO they are held in place by very weak screws. This means that (for example) turning the KO's head may loosen the screw, whereas the original had a very large pin that you couldn't loosen if you turn the head. And the screw and the holes are really small. Arms and the chest/stomach pins have also been changed to screws. Move this guy too much, and the screws will come loose. I don't transform my KO anymore, and I just keep it in robot mode for my Shadow Commander armor. When I want to transform Nemesis Prime, I go for the Comic Con version.

the standard ko is not that bad. i sold a lot of these to board members. many used them for customs or as a holder for the shadow armor so that the real nemesis can be displayed. the door/window hinges did tend to be loose but they are pretty good quality. now the ko wonderfest convoy is suppose to be better quality as kotoys had them made and did not take the other kos and just have them painted.
quick question, does yours have the silver wheels like in the picture in the first post, or the gold wheels like the pictures shown on Kotoys?
I too would like to know how the Kold KO is. I want the real thing but haven't seen it in ages... but at the same time I'm hesitant on spending 50 bones on a KO if I can put that money towards a real one.
