Looks like he's not going to change the visor because he didn't want the ball joints to ruin the roof.

Maybe put the balljoint on the other end of that little arm, near the visor instead?

    Calm down. :lol

It still need to get refined in the proccess design, and be made in mass with thousand of pieces.

I'd say around july-august we'll see this guy in all its painted glory, amd december maybe he'll be released :) .

Ah well, kinda nice to know it was at least considered! Curious conclusion and decision, though, imho. I mean he seems to be going all out for bot mode accuracy and, for example, doesn't mind 'ruining' the rear wheels with visible holes and odd looking rivet patterns [you never even noticed the CGI model had] in them to achieve it, yet he's happy to have the visors looking totally wrong in bot mode to avoid a barely noticeable impact on the cab roof in alt mode. Have the ball joint linkage red and it really doesn't look bad at all, certainly not any worse than the MPM's pin joint linkage.

If only somebody who speaks Chinese could point this out to Black Apple. Like 20 times a day till he changes his mind! :)  Come on @oku - be a team player! :)

I do think the upper body transformation is somehow accurate, the legs are not, cause in the tf2 rotf scene, optimus' feet came from the cab not the front face of truck

The more I see these wheels, the more I'm reminded of Tron lightbikes

If they’re fixing stuff on the lower legs and feet or whatever maybe it’ll make the upper body look less bulky, but then you run the risk of making the figure look too stumpy overall. So hope they tread lightly with how and what they fix

I thought it was just a translation issue
, not that they'll be fixed in the future.
If so, i can barely see changes, maybe just the side visors, but just that.

Modifying the legs would be just modifying the whole robot's structure.

Do you want me to re-construct the alt-mode with less gaps and digibash?.

Sometime I want to start a thread in the root forum asking which toy they think has the least issues. Not which is their favorite, but which one has the least gaps, inaccuracies, tolerance problems, etc. I bet a lot will be pretty simple toys. The more details, engineering, etc that goes into making a toy better, the more chances there are something will go wrong.

Exactly. I painted the ball joints on my ROTF Prime and I think it looks much better than the mpm4.

Which is precisely why, if they do get everything right, it'll be far more impressive than any simple toy can ever hope to be. (^o^)

Youre right, maybe thats why hasbro goes to the decision of making simple engineering and develop the toy years by years until its "okay"

You won't never please everyone at the same time.

Because "pleasing" it's something of their own instead of thinking what it's objectively "better", many could have different experiences to ours or the other way around, and many others could have different way to think of what's better of course

If we talk about gaps or tolerances, that's something more related to the qc issues instead of the execution of the toy itself.

If we talk about accuracy, somes actually may find it worse and others as the best thing ever, but of course, there's nothing wich states that accuracy or not it's better.

Some won't like this toy and that's okay, let them like what they like, or they just dislike it due some actual reasoning (lack or bad execution of some ideas, ie; lack of ball-jointed visors).

There's also the factor that some people find another toy amazing because it's fun or something "unique" they just liked enough to prefer it to the "correct" or "better as fact" version.

Some people have their own thoughts what's better or worse, correct for them of course, but that doesn't make their opinions a fact, however, it applies the same to almost all opinions, be postive or negative towards it.

So there won't be ever a toy wich "pleases" everyone or it's universally liked, because we're humans after all.
