Split lip, did your tracking update after you got it? Mine still hasnt shown with no updated shipping
It hasn't, I don't know what the fuck's up. Still says en route to Canada, even though he's sitting in front of me.
Just noticed that Canada Post shows the expected delivery as Dec. 3rd
Got mine. He's fine. Tiny bit sloppy on the apps. Couple of weird scuffs in the paint that I don't think I can fix. Weird black scuff on his snout. Overall, I can't really complain. I've wanted a Ratbat since 1987 and never found a decent G1 one, so...
Got mine yesterday... Paint apps are all nicely done. Only issue is the one jet pack being.slightly off.
I am happy with it.
So I got the fix for the rocket booster. Is there a fix for the misaligned head panel/chest piece? The rocket didn't even bother me.
I ordered mine on nov. 2nd from toysking2012 and also didn't receive anything until now. My MP Red Alert from them I ordered a week before Ratbat also did not arrive. Tracking status didn't change for a month now.
That's strange. Thought they were very reliable. Got 3 MP KOs a few months back, they all arrived safely and quick within 7-10 days!
They seemed to be very busy with shipping all the sold Ratbats as they told me. Maybe they screwed some things back then.
Is someone else also waiting for such a long time?
Still waiting for mine but at least tracking is showing it's in Canada ! Should have it in 2-3 days.
Yes there is a fix I preformed on mine, but it is much more involved if you want both modes to still looks good, because theoretically you could just file the surfaces until they sit flush, but because the problem is the alignment of the pins if you just filed the surfaces the cassette mode would look terrible as the new surface geometry would conform to the off angled hinge not to mention destroy any surface detail or paint apps, so what I did was unpin the hinge and refinish the holes aligning them in the process, this however caused floppyness so I filled the holes in with epoxy putty, let it cure, and completely re-drilled the pin holes
Again there are more simple ways of handling it but they may cause aesthetic and or functional problems, so weigh your options before proceeding.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the advice! I may attempt it...
Does the pin come put easily or is it one of those pain the the butt pins?
There is slight knurling on one side and they were fairly tight, so ill just throw up a pic of the direction you need to push them out
Well I got mine a while back, and it's a tough call as to which one to keep...
See, I got KFC's Blackbat a while back, and while I do think that it is the superior toy with better articulation and better design, the Masterpiece (KO) just looks so much more like Ratbat from the cartoon in a way that KFC's clearly doesn't
So, I really don't know which one I'll keep, but likely this KO will be the winner.
My Ratbat finally arrived. Ordered on the 2nd of Nov, estimated for 8 Dec so I guess I'm a week ahead. Right rocket slightly off, front not quite flush, but the paint looks good and no stress marks or floppyness anywhere. I guess I got one of the good ones.
Mine will be arriving at the end of the week,is there any known frequent issues i should be aware of?
You are the king.
Those looking for a real ratbat plus a free soundblaster, here you go
Just put an order in. Says "remake" but also Takara original. worst case, my money gets tied up for a few weeks.
Well shit... That's worth $31 just to see if it happens. If it's phooey, Amazon will take care of you.
HIGHLY sausage-puss. Somebody here try it first...
