my advise is,..dont buy KO in a heartbeat..they may look good on your screen, but not as good in your hands (and eyes) wait for peaugh, bens, emgo..or any other lucky tf fan who can get it firsthand and does the actual review

 

Heck ya. Bens Collectibles seems to get his hands on these ko versions at least 8 years before they hit the drafting table. Pretty sure he has a time machine and goes to the future for them

 

Good advice. RocketPunch Army (RPA) is the king of KO reviews and calls it like it is. I'm sure he'll get his hands on a copy. Also wait untill the ko makes its way into the wild after it is released. The feedback from the masses is important as well.

 

For me, I will probably just buy it and take one for the team lol. If it's got issues I'll just fix it. I'm handy with things

 

Yeah they got us hooked on overpriced garbage back in the 80's, yeah I said it, g1 is overpriced garbage. Buying 2 dollar toys for 50 to a 100 bucks. Like I said, fuck em.

Yeah, which was the process of creating Transformers! Not that I'm a Hasbro apologist - I love 3P as much as anyone and have sucked on that sweet KO nectar a few times over the years. It's just, y'know, saying "fuck Hasbro" is just like the lamest thing, is all. But hey ho, TFW FTW and stuff I guess. Sort of.

 

I see both sides on that. I am quite appreciative of the invention of Transformers and their continued formats over the years.
At the same time, today, I see the prices climbing and quality and design going downhill. The only voice I really have on it is with my $. So what I spend will most certainly reflect the fact that I see the KO/3P market as better value.
The main problem I see is that people line up in droves to throw any amount they ask for what isn't as decent as they were before. It just tells Hastak that they can push it even further. I imagine them in the boardrooms laughing at the whole thing saying "jack the prices even more, they just keep paying anything we ask"

It's a ko so it is expected that it won't have logos. Logos from reprolabels should fix that.

 

children these days don't even know what cassettes are.
Maybe they should make a soundwave that holds gigabytes or terabytes instead of cassettes.

That hasn't really been the case. It's pretty new, I have a few KO cars and they're all logo'd up. Ironhide was the first one I saw w/ no logo on the box/toy.

 

The companies that wanna stick around a while don't use the logos and maybe give you the stickers seperate (yes model, Wei Zhang) vs the companies that don't last long just don't care (Takada Tony)

 

If they're ripping off an actual toy design as a ko, not creating a new design as a 3p, then I don't see how including the logo can get them in any more trouble than they're already in. I always figured they didn't care about infringement and just relied on the lax copyright enforcement in China.

 

As long as it has the symbols I'm good.

The 2 BB7 KOs that I've gotten were logo-less even though the pic showed them, but came with them for the consumer to apply if desired.
