I got the first SG KO from Rub a little less than a week ago (thanks Rub!), and aside from the same thing with the head antennae being glued and one of the antennae position being a tad bit off, it is sweet. I chose it over the official Hasbro SG because of the color scheme, the cracked faceplate, and the arm tampos. It reflects a villain prime way better than Nemesis, imo. I only transformed it once, and didn't notice any issues. It's standing strong for me.  

I was wondering though, is whoever that produces these planning on a v3 KO regular Prime? I can't find the dang v2 anymore, and I really like that metallic fleck, fully painted legs, and all the other additions. It makes the official MP10 look washed out in comparison. If there is no word on a v3, I'd gladly take someone's v2 off their hands.

 

I'm thinking of picking up of the SG Prime that is a straight up KO of the Hasbro Asia version especially because it includes matrix, roller, and Spike.

 

I'll keep asking, hoping someone in this thread has an "in" - what are the odds of a Diaclone blue Power Convoy version? Too niche? I, for one, love all the Diaclone homages, and have skipped most of the other repaints, but I'd snatch up a blue MP-10 lickety-split.

 

I pulled the trigger on KO SG Prime with trailer, roller, matrix, and SG Spike (official Hasbro Asia colors version) on Ebay. Almost $50 cheaper than what the exact same KO is going for on tf-direct. I'll report on it when it comes in.

I'm new getting into the 3rd party/KO scene, so forgive me if this gets asked over and over. Could someone provide me with a reputable place to buy a KO Green BAPE version? I would like to get one to customize for a display, but I can't seem to find any on the more frequently mentioned sites, or Ebay. Also, was the green BAPE version ever oversized? Thank you.

longkfei88_90 came thru like a champ. I just received my Hasbro Asia color KO Shattered Glass Masterpiece Optimus Prime (MP10). Turnaround time to delivery in Atlanta, GA, USA was 13 days from order date. The shipping box was styrofoam-like material wrapped in yellow tape like a drug shipment. lol.

The item box was an unmarked brown cardboard box similar to the boxes for the Yes Model KO seekers. Given the accessories it comes with and the in-hand quality, it is MUCH better deal at about $100 shipped than the official Hasbro-Asia version.

 

please inform us on the quality and joints of it.

That's awesome. I was actually wondering. The pic you posted from TF Source makes him look sweet, but I couldn't tell from your in-hand pic if it actually had the speckled paint.

 

Hmmm. Is shattered glass Spike supposed to have a higher level of swag than regular Spike?

 

No problem man. I like both the SG KO's alot. The v1 just looks much more sinister but the QC could have been a bit better. Nothing wrong with it, but a bit creaky in the joints. The v2 is just nice and smooth baller. Very slick plus you get the trailer plus spike. For about $100 with free shipping - who can turn that down?

@ChromeMagnus - Did your seller raise his price? I see it at about $110 shipped to me.

My supplier has been offering the Hasbro SG KO version for about $5 cheaper than that for awhile now so just wondering... no biggie.

I do think that SG Spike should be dubbed "Pimp Daddy Spike". With his shiny purple shirt and thigh high yellow hooker boots - Pimp Daddy Spike is ready to hit the club man!
