Just received my Nero versions of Leodux and Talon. Unboxed and fiddling now. They look and feel exceptionally solid and I love them. I don't have MMCs to compare to so cannot confirm any differences or improvements but IMHO NeoArt toys have really knocked this set out of the park.

Can't wait to combine soon!!! Pics to follow xD

Normal coloured talon arrived on Monday and the figure is solid you couldnt really tell it's a Ko apart from the odd paint application.

Very happy with this figure and will look to buy the rest in the new year.

So, I bought one of the normal sized "cheap" KO Feral Rexs off of Sirtoys, but the ko leo dux torso was just too floppy to hold everything together. Does anyone happen to know if the cheap KO limbs will fit onto either the official MMC or NeoArt KO torso pegs? Thanks in advance!

There's another normal sized KO version of this other than Neoart toys?

Yeah. Look for it on sirtoys.com. Way cheaper, but significantly lower quality. Only recommended for skilled customizers/modders that can make all the small fixes needed on it. Looks and works great once all the kinks with it are sorted out.

Ok, thanks for the heads up Ultraman, yeah, cheap ko not for me, need the Neoart version. Man, I got scared that maybe the Neoart Leodux was weak and i should skip it, but relieved to hear it was another.

For sure, I would've went with the Neoart as well but even at its ko price I couldn't swing the cost with everything else I've been buying lately. Neoart is definitely the way to go if the funds are there.

You could try model fans on aliexpress, they are free shipping and seem to have a mobile discount offer on at the mo.
I got my Nero felisaber off them, no issues what so ever.

Question! I'm thinking about picking Jinbao Into The Sky purely for its weapons -- I recently got TFC Ares and LOVE it, but I can't help noticing that Feral Rex's weapons are cooler. I already bought a Combtoys Bastard, so I'm set there... but do you guys think I could modify Jinbao's OS Feral Rex guns to work with Ares? (both in combined mode and individual modes).

Is this considered a good ko? Is there any obvious easy breakage points? I saw some pics with windowed boxes and some black box ones that looks like its copying mp style boxes. Are they the same toy? Also would i be missing any pieces if i dont buy the ko of felisaber? (Weapons and such for feral rex) hows the quality compared to jinbao's os ko? Thanks.

This is the closest ko in terms of quality to the original MMC one, paint apps and all. I don't have the original, but I have seen reviews say that its abt 90% the same as MMC. The joints are super solid and hold up well, no issues with combined mode. Tigris and felisaber does suffer from a weak waist joint, but there's a replacement part provided in both talon/Leo dux that fixes that issue perfectly.

I can't speak for Jinbao's version, since I don't have it, but you should he able to find more info over in the ko Os feral rex thread. From what I've read it pretty much blows jinbao out of the water. The jinBao version is much cheaper tho.

And finally, no, you don't need felisaber to complete the set, just like the original mmc feral rex.

But does Felisaber include any parts needed for the combined weapon? Thanks

Nope, it does not. All combined weapons come packaged with the other figures. He does come with 6 new gundam style guns that neoart toys included themselves tho. And of course the mmc penguin figure.

Theres a pic of him in my review along with the official one, about 3 or 4 posts down.

Felisaber does come with one set of the combiner hands claws, so you'd miss out in them if you didn't get him. They are not essential by any means, just a nice finishing touch.

Just got it. Only played with Razorclaw so far but I notice the combiner knee ratchets are REALLY stiff. And one of them look crooked and one side has leeway to move. I hope it wont affect combined mode...
