There are a cpl people in the Junkion Exchange selling them. Will have to pay overseas shipping though.

I know yahobby still has Mirage but no Wheeljack or Sunstreaker(unless they restocked)

Wheeljack is decent but overpriced for a KO.

For almost the price of these KO's, you could 'fill the gap' of your collection will real G1 cars. Just a thought.

How come they're able to release a KO of Sunstreaker when Takara aren't able to make a reissue?

They are probably using a 3D scanner and getting molds cut by by a tool linked up to a computer. They seem too sharp to be a cast of an old toy, and there are some minor molding differences on most of them.

I'm sure there are a couple of guys on here who can give you a definite answer though.

Where is that company located? I just skimmed the site and couldn't find.
How much is express mail (3-7days) shipping for something like MP starscream to the US?

I'll save all the resident anti-repro busybodies the trouble of taking another dump on their keyboards:

    1. It costs eleventy trillion kazillion dollars. In fact, it costs more money to make a new mold than it costs to make a new mold. Even in cases where old molds are still usable, the R&D has to be done all over again but not for free like with an entirely new design. The same goes for marketing, because new advertising for unproven products is also free compared to the burdensome cost of responding to an existing request.

    2. There is no demand anywhere and there never will be. Nobody imports toys from Japan and reissues we don't get in the US never climb in value. Fans and collectors exist only when somebody needs to pump up Michael Bay's gross numbers and then magically disappear until the next movie. Now shut up and buy something you don't like so Hasbro can get a clear picture of the market undistorted by differing opinions.

    3. The old characters are boring and stupid. That's why Michael Bay's movie was about Leader1 and CyKill, instead of all those Autobot and Decepticon has-beens. Who in their right mind would write about anything even tangentially related to G1? We need to move beyond Optimus Prime and Megatron and start all over with Optimus Prime and Megatron. All worship [insert character here] and [his/her] profound influence on all of history ever lest ye be smited!

    4. The toy marketplace is very competitive and that is very bad because nothing good ever comes from competition. Remember when Tonka nearly erased Hasbro from the time stream by also selling convertible robots for just a couple of years? While a handful of 25 year old toys are definitely not a threat, they are a huge threat second only to that guy who killed Superman in the 1990s. And who knows, he may also be behind these sinister reproductions!

If you mean YaHobby, I believe it's located in China.
Ioffer is a site similar to eBay, but the guys selling the KO's are also situated in China.

If I can find the originals for under $100 in C9+ condition I would get originals. I like to display my G1 with boxes so I want boxes in good shape. That is my main reason to get the KO for the NM box.

    Chip on your shoulder much????

I'm proud to be an anti-repro busybudy :thumbs2:
And none of your points above relate - even in an exaggerated, sarcastic or ironic sense - to the criticism you are attempting to level (since when does not liking repros = loving the movie????), thereby making your response look...well, less than clever.

I'm so sick of hearing about lost/stolen molds, and how certain figures will never be released again.

Yeah, where does this type of information come from? Does Hasbro or Takara put out a press release that state

"The following figures can never be manufactured again... 1. Soundwave 2. Sky Lynx 3. Predaking 4. Omega Supreme"

lol and sure enough, all those figures came out.

I wish people would stop spreading these rumors or if they are true please "Cite your sources!" as my english lit professor would say.

Nut, did I say I liked repros? I don't buy reissues. I just meant; WHY don't Takara make a new mold for Sunstreaker, Wheeljack and Mirage when there obviously are a demand.

    Gotcha'!

I think that's where I got my KO Mirage, Ioffer. Just checked my PayPal. It was member t800pro at ioffer.com He's currently listing the KO Mirage for $29.99 w/$15.00 shipping, but the latest deal to the US went for $38.00 shipped!

Paid $46. shipped to the US for mine! I made $4.00 from my friend :dunce
