    welp here we go

    from my email from a3u

We have received our shipment of new Cassettes KO figures. These ones consist of 10 different color versions. In this batch there is:
Clear Cassettes - These have die cast parts and silver weapons. The die cast is unpainted, even the back of Lazerbeak.
Solid White with silver or gold weapons.
    Solid Black with gold weapons.
Clear Blue with silver or gold weapons.
Clear Orange with silver or gold weapons.
Clear colors Rumble / Buzzsaw and Frenzy / Lazerbeak - Done in their original colors but all in clear.
You can view all of these and all our other KO items in our KO section:
    http://www.agesthreeandup.com/?p2=shopping/catalog.jsp&catalog_id=122

We have confirmed our KO Mirage figures as well and have set up a preorder for this figure. We expect our first batch of them in about 2 to 3 weeks. We will ship all preorders as soon as they arrive. Devastator and Wheeljack should be up and coming within the next two months. You can see the Mirage preorder here:
    http://www.agesthreeandup.com/main.jsp?p2=shopping/product.jsp&product_id=1335

You can now get 6 Energon cubes to display with your Transformers. These cubes are done in pink acrylic and are the same size as the ones that were included with the Takara Insecticons reissue. Each pack comes with six cubes that you can pile or pose with any number of Transformers.

Just a quick reminder about our up and coming July Sale. This July will mark Ages Three And Up's fourth year of business and like any other July, we will be having a huge in store sale. Everything in the store at that time will be at least 20% off with much larger savings on many other items. We only have two sales like this a year so it is your chance to score some huge discounts on many desirable figures. This discount does not apply to any preorders at the time. Come early to get the good stuff!

Not worth $70, if the quality is anything like the Swoop one.

No KO is worth that much. If these were going for KO prices, I'd pick up the Wheeljack, for to finish up my incomplete real one.

can't wait for Wheeljack, i'll pay what they ask, just to keep him sealed as part of my WJ collection (i already have a complete loose boxed wheeljack and diaclone WJ and marloboor WJ) just want this for asthetics...

mirage on the otherhand, i have complete and really only need an extra for kitbash... we'll see after botcon how the $$ situation is, but i think its a reasonable price if they've used swoop to refine the quality. the boxes have become much better with the soundwave box, and they DID fix the mistakes in the swoop in later runs.

For cybertron sakes, how many times do we have to explain that the blue cassette is RUMBLE and the red one is Frenzy. Sometimes I'm beginning to wonder if those manufacturers have even watched the series.

Seconded. Especially at $70, which can get you a loose original on the eBay.

The recolored tapes look good though. Soundwave can always use more friends

Toys came before the show. the red one is rumble, the blue one is frenzy everywhere except the show. even the rumble alternator is red.

Yes, how dare Spencer carry things his customers want!

Mirage will be mine, as will wheeljack. its just too hard to get excellent quality vintage ones.

I've got most of these color cassettes already. New ones being the ones with gold weapons. Already have an original G1 Mirage, it would nice to get just the box for him.

People are complaining about the high prices, and seem to be citing the admittedly high price of Mirage, but what do you think of $20 for the pair of KO cassettes? That seems quite a bit better than what I've seen on eBay.

$70 for a KO! I love Mirage, but that is too much. Even an official release would cost less than that. He is a small transformer with a simple transformation. I mean I could see a combiner figure costing that much or a larger figure like Sixshot, but Mirage, please. I know we will never get one but I will stick with a vintage one thank you very much.
