I have been given the thumbs up that Metrotitan is indeed going to be done. It will come in a Japanese style of box but will not come with the smaller micromaster figure. Colours should match the original one a little better than the Metroplex did.

Image is of my own figure but it should be very close to the same thing!

Likely because then they would have to create an additional mold.

Most likely they only produced the mold for Metroplex, a more obscure figure like his Micromaster would be harder to obtain.

I have to admit, while I'm generally against these reproductions (for the confusion it causes mainly) this one interests me...

This is awesome; just as cool as the KO Diaclone Red Mirage that was produced a while back. Hopefully, this trend continues with the upcoming KO Sunstreaker (i.e. red and white police versions) and KO Wheeljack (red marlboro version). It would also be nice if they re-visited the KO Swoop and created a KO Diaclone blue version...

D'oh, I forgot that these are two separate KO companies, I think?...

Not sure why you guys are so excited... the 'Plex molds looked pretty weak, and without his special Micromaster buddy it just seems half-assed.

I don't know how I feel. On the one hand Metrotitan is probably number one on my list (see signature), and yes, this one would be cheaper, but it's still a KO. I've heard the Metroplex one was not very good, and the lack of a Micromaster does make it seem kind of half-assed. I thought the whole point was to make them so good that you couldn't tell the difference between these and the originals. I'll wait and see. As a collector part of the appeal is knowing that you own such a rare piece of TF history.

As long as it has rubber wheels, I'll be all over it. :)

not always i got mine pretty cheap last month MISB...... the price will always drop due to kos and reissues. im sure this will affect the value of the real one as soon as it comes out. so give it time like the g1 toys the prices will fall. i got a mib stickers unapplied starconvoy for 200 shipped who wouldve believed that 3 yrs ago when they would sell for 500 and up easily. im pretty sure will drop to an affordable price sometime soon. trust me it will be worth all the wait the ko plastic quality is just not up to par. the ko is a good substitute but nothing will be better than the original......

I can't understand all the whining about the lack of some shitty micromaster. I couldn't care less as long as the REAL toys are working and good quality. I know Metrotitan is a Jap exclusive and all, and thus I'm sure loads of people would bust a nut for the chance to get a complete Metrotitan set with all the original parts, but it's still just a Micromaster. Is it because it's only available as a member of Metrotitan? I just want Metrotitan at a cheap price that's also affordable. <=\
