My symbol is crooked, too. Also, I can't get the ab piece to flip out.

I was lucky and didn't get a dirty one. Mine wasn't super tight, either.

I had to use pliers to get that piece out. Seems the paint wasn't fully cured before he was assembled and it seized up. I folded a paper towel four times and put it in the pliers' jaws but it still married the paint a little. Fortunately it was a spot that doesn't really show in either mode.

Others have said they used a screwdriver to pry it out but I couldn't figure out what to lever it against without causing damage elsewhere.

I tried using an x-acto and made a BIG scratch down the side of the piece. I'm leaving it alone for now.

I decided to try my luck again and bought a second one from another seller. My second one is actually worse than my first one! I guess they aren't preparing food, so their hands don't need to be clean, but it's a white figure. Wouldn't you notice that you're leaving all sorts of smudges on it? The abs were stuck, but not as badly as the first one, and I was able to wedge it out with a small screwdriver. The worst part are the leg panels. One side won't sit flush (not a huge deal, but still kind of a bummer). The other side...well, the pin that holds the panel that flips over to cover the back wheel wasn't pushed in all the way, so it's not flush. I was wondering why that panel wouldn't flip all the way around, and it's because the pin is sticking out and prevents it from sitting flush. So I'm gonna have to get some pliers and see if I can push it in more.
I'm got a bunch of the KO cars at work (the officials are at home), and this is the first one that actually FEELS like a KO. Hopefully Takasa Tony or the other KO company will come out with their own version. Oh, and the shoulders are having issues staying pegged in on this one, while the first one seemed better. Who knew, apparently not all KO companies are equal.

Yup I have a lot of the same issues as others are reporting. Stuck panels, off-center faction logo. No issues with side panel, paint or dirt smudges.

Are the hands and crotch painted on the official? Mine just looks like red plastic.

I can't for the life of me open up that ab panel. Would love to know what others did to open this. What leverage point did you have to pry it open?

All that being said, I love it. Can't be beat for $35. Much thanks to Rubadubspawn for hooking me up.

The ab panel needs to be pryed out with a screw driver. It's hollow so put the screw driver in the hollow part and move it out. Takes a little bit of force.

Ironic how the ironhide ko seems mostly perfect and this has all these issues.

Yeah, I got one of these on Saturday from Best Grey. Seller was great (I wish his prices on non carbot KOs was better) but this is the first KO I've been disappointed with. All the same issues everyone else is brining up. It's actually made me seriously consider getting an official one and turning this one into a Shattered Glass version for my first foray into customization.

I've been messing with my all weekend and it's fine. It's nice but with some issues.
For a KO it's well made, but the faction logo is crooked.
And transforming it was a bitch because everything was so tight. That's one comment in here I think was accurate. - that the best thing about the mold - the transformation - is a joyless experience in the KO. Otherwise it's fine. I'm happy to have it.

    This is what I did.

I finished my custom and am contemplating selling this to someone who might just want it for display. There really isn't much joy in transforming this version of the toy.

Love your wrist bands! How'd you get those stripes so crisp?

I put a few in-progress shots up a while back. Only change really since then is I painted the crotch white (over my silver primer).

I hadn't bothered to check any reference and just totally forgot the "ears" were white. It's good enough for me. I'll get a new photo for you when I get home.
