The Testron one I got a few years back from Neo-Bombshell is excellent, as good as an original. One of the legs is a little loose on the connection (no worse than a played with vintage, no doubt) and one of Jagaur's little red missile racks has a little excess plastic in the socket that connects to Killbison's cannon for the gun in combined mode - neither of these ruins the toy, though.

A couple of the other joints are a little floppy - again, this could be because the thing is pretty old, nearly as old as Liokaiser itself.

It's a great set if you can get ahold of one, though. Well worth it.

my "Testron" (I think that's what I got - the box is long gone now) is a very good clone IMO. Like any knockoff, a few joints are a little loose, and edges and details are a little rougher. It's even compatible with the genuine article if you have a few.

The only problem I had with them was the knockoff process seems to have been hardest of the little breastplate partners. I've had something break or fall apart on the small parts on most of them. Your mileage may vary though.

Breast partners are fine on all of mine, except Hellbat's has loose wings. Again I attribute that to age rather than to the KO process, but who knows?

well, it seems the BIN agreement i had with the seller is no longer in good standing, as he agreed on a sale price and has not ended the auction, and now, there are more bidders. the price he asked was fairly high for a KO, IMO, and actually was higher than i'v seen the last official one go for. i agreed, and prepaerd to pay, but the seller has yet to end the auction, or get back to me, so, if this tops the price the last official box set goes for, then you guys can have it.

i bought 2, and am in the process of kitbasing the 2nd guyhawk into a hellbat. i have reversed the the arms, and need to only re-cast the chest plate, and reverse the transformation.

it may be the only liokaiser i get.

hat is known as "the gimp" liokaiser. the left arm is a bastard son of a doubledealer and hellbat, plus is 50% smaller than the other limbs. the only dif other than color between guyhawk and hellbat is that the transformation is oposites, so that they can form each arm. not having the breast plate son this version, they look pretty much the same. jet modes are a bit different too.

Yeah, Gaihawk and Hellbat have slightly different jet modes. Hellbat has one central tailfin, and Gaihawk has one on either side. The wings are ever so slightly different, too. Other than that, it's only the heads, both of them are robot faces inside a helmet that looks like their respective animal.

oh, no, he is VERY worth the low price. there are 2 versions. one in a box like teh other KO combiners, and one on card. same toy, but sellers will charge way more to ship th eboxed version. if you can find a carded version for $9-12 i'd jump on it. it's a fun novelty to have, even without the hellbat arm, and if your ambitious like me, i got two and made this....
