I believe that some called the "blue/purple" Rainmaker - Ice Storm

I was going to suggest that there names be ones ending in Storm ; I was thinking Hailstorm was ideal till Hasbro used it for a Missile truck.

But I suppose any stormy name would be good 'Blizzard' maybe ?

I have been pondering the idea of a green F-15 what to copy though ?

    SEE THIS ARTICLE :
    http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Seeker_(group)

It could be quite light green Like the Green Rainmaker : That would be good.

But examining the various colours *AND THERE'S A LOT OF THEM*

I also like the teal colour a lot and the quite pale blue colour (this can also double as Thundercracker) and one of the background Thundercracker like ones was also quite dark - that would also double as a 1980's toy colour Thundercracker.

I like the really dark blue one too - just as I think it looks nice.

The Pine green one is also one that really appeals to me for several reasons as it's like MP-03 Starscream and it's also like Sky Quake. as well as being suggestive of Acid Storm without the camo and Machine Wars Thundercracker and similar characters that have been Green Decepticon jets over the years.

Green with Brass or bronze colour intake accents would be interesting but might not be considered Cartoon compliant by some but I think bronze intakes would be interesting looking and a nice change from silver.

I couldn't find an Image but there was a dark pink or light red one too.. and the Starscream template in Silverbolt colours is also rather nice too. and slightly suggestive of : Windrazor (1993) - Decepticon Leader - www.tfu.info

I suppose most people see the logic of :

    Sunstorm (Orange not yellow)
Black Starscream (be it Robotmasters or E-Hobby style).
    Action master Thundercracker
    Thundercracker (1991) - Decepticon Warrior - www.tfu.info

I see the best thing about doing an Actionmaster Thundercracker colour is it completes the alt colour scheme idea shown in Classics Starscream & Classics Skywarp as that trio still has not been completed as every single Thundercracker F-15 apes a G1 deco. I'd like that Thundercracker's AM deco would also look a bit like snare.

And I hope some see the logic of a pale Blue Thundercracker body too.

But aside from those what would be good ones, as I said just because I like the colours I'd welcome a Pine green and a dark pink one. but I also see the value of a much, much darker Blue Thundercracker too.

I also notice that we've never really had an alternative colour scheme for G1 Thrust but looking at that webpage link there's a brown and grey cone-head and there's also the memory of the Brown Armada Thrust so perhaps an ideal Alt colour (a G2 colour if you like ) for Thrust is Powerlinx Thrust colours on a G1 Classics/Generations style body.

If they do Fake Thrust Dirge & Ramjet then I know personally I'd really like a Universe white & blue and red colour Ramjet too.

Lastly a thing that crossed my mind when I was thinking of the other Decepticon airplanes was to wonder - would other Decepticons have once shared the F-15 bodies and then ended up with a brand new body There must be a great many small subgroup characters with colour schemes that would work really well on an F-15 body to consider too.

    Snare : http://www.tfu.info/1992/Decepticon/Snare/snare.html
Nice red colour - would also be like the blink and you miss it Red F-15 from the cartoon.

Falcon : There was a grey F-15 but it was quite plain (or Plane Ha!) so taking some colours from this guy may add visual interest to a grey F-15 : Falcon (1992) - Decepticon Leader - www.tfu.info

    Talon : Talon (1992) - Decepticon Advance Fighter - www.tfu.info
Pretty much like the teal F-15 overall so a teal F-15 could be considered a link to this guy too - or even an alternative body for this guy.

    Skyquake : Skyquake (1992) - Decepticon Air Commandant - www.tfu.info / Skyquake (2009) - Decepticon Air Commandant - www.tfu.info

Another green one - this is what I was referring to about using a different accent for the chest like copper or brass perhaps with a glimmer of pink on the guns and intakes. it is also like : Eagle Eye (1993) - Decepticon Infiltrator - www.tfu.info

Skydive : Nice rich colour typical of many Decepticons of the 1980's so I think his colours would work rather well to as an alternative generic perhaps : Skydive (1992) - Decepticon Scientific Advisor - www.tfu.info it's also a colour suggestive of Flywheels :
    Flywheels (1987) - Decepticon Assault Team - www.tfu.info

Afterburner has a colour scheme that seems like it might make an ideal pattern frot he wing deco of Thundercracker in "Classics" form : Afterburner (1993) - Decepticon Technicians Master - www.tfu.info so he has a non G1 deco too.

A character who might be to similar to the yellow one we just got but who does remind me a lot of the "seekers" is : Fearswoop (1993) - Decepticon Attack Specialist - www.tfu.info ; perhaps his wing deco on a yellow F-15 makes for a Classics character as differentiated from a G1 character.

Windsweeper seems like the sort of bonkers colour that Generics in the show were as well as being suggestive of Powerlinks Thrust : Windsweeper (1988) - Decepticon Air Defense - www.tfu.info might make an interesting colour for a fake Generations Thrust or Dirge.

So those are some of my thoughts ; what colours might appeal to you for other F-15 if they keep making them ?

Got mine in today....these.things.are.AWESOME! This was my first experience with the CHMS mold; not floppy at all, high quality plastic, and they don't feel cheep at all.

So disatisfied with CHMS. I have the yellow Sunstorm with a squad of Purple seekers. At this point I would prefer some flop... at least I could tighten it to my liking.

Either the fists are too loose or too tight.

The arms are too tight to bend at the elbow without grease.

The parts that were floppy was an easy fix... but having to open the fists with a mini-screwdriver sucks all the fun out of these toys. We really need more people who actually play with Transformers to give their opinions on this thread.
