Haven't seen one either. Nice box for a KO. It's funny how it's display in the box with the combiner head on. Still I wouldn't mind owning that one.

I don't care for LDs, but for some reason that's cool. Like, Dogs Playing Poker cool, but cool.

Huh, it comes with the combiner parts? Does that mean there are other gold Seacons as well?

This toy is about 10 years old, but it's pretty hard to find.

What most people don't realize about this toy is that it's not *just* a bootleg of Snaptrap. The gold plating and packaging are rip-offs of another toy as well, STD Goldran (gold chrome version) from Brave of Gold Goldran:

Nope. I've seen this guy pop up several times, and I've never seen any other gold Seacons.

What an odd thing to do, even for a KO company...

Good call, MG - I was just about to post that they clearly were going for a "Goldran-ish" look and feel to the packaging.

And since Goldran came out about 11 years ago, this guy being around 10 years old sounds about right, too.

That's quite an interesting piece. How much does that go for?

Here's what the box says (roughly):

    FRONT
    Top Right:
    "Space Specialist Force Team"
    "Five Man"

    Bottom:
    "Gold Change Robot"

    BACK
    Top Right:
    "Change Robot"

Left Side going down (with pics):
    "First - Robot"
    "Second - Turtle"
    "Third - Turtle Robot"

    Bottom Middle:
"Suggest retail price: 10,000 won" (roughly 10 bucks, but guesstimating as to when this was made, the price was probably equivalent to 1 US dollar at the time.)

    (^-^)v

    - KO

Hah. In Korea, it seems like many super robots are called Gundam and Fiveman. I guess those two series had a big influence on them or something :)

Not my cup of tea since I'm not a big fan of gold TFs myself, but I admit that looks pretty cool.

I'm almost convinced that uses the original mold. So many details are so exactly the same...

Didn't know you were into herps!
I got a pair of blue-tongue skinks, a leopard gecko and a ball python. I used to have more but I scaled down.
