Does anyone here have both a KO Dinobot and an Original G1 so you can tell me the differences between the two. (Pics would be great!!)

--The HQ KO, not the other garbage out there, if any--
    Quality differences between the two?
Are the grey colors of the KO's "milky".... lighter??
Any other info would be great :)

I was thinking about picking up a set of nice originals, but I'm looking at about $250.+ for the condition I'm talking. Looking at the KO's as an alternative.

I'm all for originals, but right now I just spent a load on G1 Scorponok and may buy the KO's of the Dinos to save a few bucks. It all boils down to Quality and Colors!

Greys are at least a little off, first run of Swoop had problems with the peghole on one of the wings.

....but given rather reliable hints dropped recently, maybe you should sit tight?

I knew about that last year (was in on the conversation via PM) and I swear, I just read it again in the new MP speculation thread ;)

Yea', I may just pop a headmaster or two and wait a bit.

Reissue Dinobots have been rumored for 5 years. I wouldn't hold my breath on those.

The KO boxes sure spot a similar look to the vintage version, other than that to me these bots are replica to the original version, cool

I would love a pic of any of the KO Dinos next to the same original if anyone finds the time.

    I'd really appreciate it.

    Ebay:
The left is a vinatge G1 Swoop, on the right is the blue Diaclone Swoop KO. I got the KO because I like my G1's to be screen accurate. There are slight differences with the details in the molding, but nothing you'd notice without holding the original next to it, with the exception of the details on the die-cast are kinda muddy. Also it uses the Diaclone beak that wasnt rounded out to save the lives of American children!

I was actually talking about these KO's...... Your Diaclone looks nice.

Woah! He didn't have pics up the last time I looked at these! The colors look too off to me. They don't look half bad I suppose??
I've ordered from this guy in the past and always got decent KO's.

TBH, any official reissue may have a lack of mold sharpness, somewhat off colors, anyway.
