WOOT!! WOOT!! ANOTHER FT. MAX Thread!

    Your answer: Not Soon Enough!

The gossip from previous posts indicate if it does happen it will be later this year or early next year. But like every other FT. Max thread, the info is suspect until proven true.

For shame HasTak, for shame; I truly do believe that you could have made a reissue happen, or at the very least a decent upgrade of Fortress Maximus, for the fandom, if only in a limited quantity. It would sell. But now those of us not fortunate enough to have an original may choose to settle for a, hopefully high quality KO.

If it does happen SIGN ME UP for sure cause I want 1. I'd even go so far to sell mostly all of my TF movie stuff just to pay for a Ft Max.

If it happens, I'll be in line. The KO WST Fort Max is pretty cool, I'd expect a full sized one (if it happens) to be no less cool.

I hope it's quality is as good as the other KO's I've got. This will be the only way I can afford a Fort Max, unless I win the lottery. Which, never happens.

A KO Fort Max pretty much kills my ability to get an original... I am HOPING to find one before the KO comes out, but once it does, unless Takara re-issues it, I will never be able to find an original. Too many people will try and cash in on swapping parts, and even whole figures.

Who exactly makes the high-quality KO's? I know who sells them, but who makes them? Can we start a partition to have FM made?

dont know why people get so excited about the KO Fort Max, the KO's have been overpriced so far I cant see why it will change with this one, infact I reckon they will charge more than usual as its a figure everyone will want.

Anyway where has the info come from that they are producing a KO Max ? isnt it a fan rumour thats become urban legend :)

I'm indifferent to a KO Fort Max. I'd be tempted to get one, but would much rather have an original.

Please let us know where it was announced a KO was being made. Otherwise, I call KO Fort Max (same size as original) BS.

I'd rather have an original my self, but I can't afford one in the condition I want. So a KO will have to do. And I don't think it's ever been confirmed at all. I think it's just we're hoping for one.

Mike from KOtoys is the one who is in contact with the ones making them, and confirmed a few times that they're working on Fort Max.

Based on the replica combiners out so far, they're about triple the price they were when in the stores in the 80's. (around $30, now $90) So a mint replica Fort Max will probably run about $300 since he was $100 back in the day. I wouldn't expect any less than that.

And the replicas ARE of good quality, and the prices are fair if you compare a G1 original in equivalent MIB condition..

    $300 I can fudge, especially for a high-end unit.

Rumor has it at around $500.

Shipping and size is going to play a big part in it.
