Just bought a KO Fort Max from Ebay for .99 (plus 15.00 shipping, from Singapore). It was listed at 200mm tall, and I was thinking it was 200 cm tall. Does anyone know if this is a good quality KO, or if I got hosed? I already have a WST KO Fort Max coming from A3U, so this may be a dupe. If so, I will prob. sell. Anyone have any experience with this KO?

Yeah, my understanding is that the 200 mm is accurate. It's small.

lol I saw that guy yesterday, looked appealing until I saw the '200mm'. Laughed at how they list it in mm so it seems bigger. 200 mm is 20 cm, which is about 8 or so inches.

You should be thankful. If it was 200 cm tall he'd be over six feet tall. I love toys, but I don't have room for a human sized bot.

i had one. It started to just fall apart on my shelf. One day the plastic just cracked and the right arm fell off. While trying to glue it back on more pieces started to break. I ended up just throwing it out.
Hopefully the plastic on yours is not as brittle as mine was.

I thought there were two sizes to this one. The WST Fort Max, which is what we are talking about, but I could have sworn that there was a slightly larger and more G1 accurate version. Was this all in head?:drunk

I don't know. Anyway, thanks for the head's up. It seems that bidding on a KO at midnight and thinking you are getting a great deal is not a good idea...had I been more awake, I would have realized the 200mm, not cm. Although, a six foot fort max would be the shiznit regardless of whether I have (I don't) room or not! Oh well, it may be that I have an extra mini fort max for sale!

LOL, you can't ship 2 meters of plastic cross town for $15, let alone halfway around the world!

And that fact is all that has put me off buying it, so far.

Also if this guy is 200mm tall that would make him a little under 8 inches tall. Making him about the size of a voyager tf.

yeah, but at midnight I wasn't converting what I thought was 200cm to mm, but still, you are right

I don't know, but I will let you know when I get it in. if nothing else, it will look cool displayed. I don't know if both of these will be similar or not.

Be prepared for poor quality plastic and lack luster QA. But Max is big enough that he may not suffer too much from that.

haha, best ko toy story ever. The makers should get an award for creating a toy that is self destructive.

That's a different fort max knockoff. The one you're talking about had a transforming head, right? This one does not have a transforming head. Two different knockoffs, same basic concept, different plastic quality.

I would say few notches below the usual stuff Hasbro gives us. It can be TFed but the plastic wont stay in place. And, oh...It has a Decepticon symbol...

But to be frank, there are some good KOs out there, not perfect, but good enough....here is a link to the KO Galaxy Convoy I posted a few days back..
