I picked this guy up today at Tuesday Morning (a closeout retailer) on Lindberg in St. Louis for $4.99. Pretty cool for a KO, but don't feel as cool as real Transformers. Lots of pictures... so enjoy.

In package picture. Can't really tell its a combiner unless you look at the back.

Overall shot of him combined, leaning against the wall for support.

Closeup of his chest. Protector snaps into empty holes. Feels tacked on, but really covers up some of the dumb lines from the firetruck that makes up the main torso.

Legs. Not very articulated. Feet really suck. Kinda leans backwards.

Sloppy sticker applications and loose fitting arm.

Standing next to Galaxy Force Optimus Prime. You truly get what you paid for.

I saw these one year at Wal-Mart as part of an Easter Basket bundle. I had to keep myself from falling on the floor and laughing.

You mean the one that was supposed to be an OTFCC exclusive with the new Defensor head? I hear you. Dude, that thing looked sweeeeeeeet.

I bought a couple of these sets with the intention of bashing them into the unreleased G2 versions, but lost interest when I took them apart and they were just *total* crap. I'll probably find a legit Defensor junker if I ever get motivated to start back on that project.

Still, the KOs look good sitting on a shelf.

I've owned the Devastator, Defensor, and Superion KOs. Defensor is by far the best of the bunch. I actually swiped the KO ladder from Hot Spot onto my offical G1 because the G1 ladder was extremely loose. Can't even tell the difference.

He was worth the $5 I paid for him. Does look good on a shelf if you don't have the real thing.

I've been thinking about getting the KO set for that reason alone...my Hot Spot's ladder has almost broken off completely.

well I might just have to take a trip down Lindberg. I could use two of those, one to put together and sit next to my G1 Defensor, and one to cannibalize for a new ladder for my G1 Hot Spot which is loose as a goose.

I used to keep the KO ones at work... that way I'm not worried if they happen to "walk" away...

Sorry Deefuzz. Unless they have more in the back, I got the last one on the shelf. There are however two different size Devestator KO's. I saw these earlier this month and passed on them because I was broke(Still broke, but bought them anyway).

They had a bunch of them over the top of the racks, but now they don't have anything up there. I scoured the shelves too, just looking for anything else. Still might be worth stopping by any Tuesday Morning and just checking.

I like this older KO Fire Chief, especially with the green eyes. All I had to do is drill holes in his hands, and he is G1 compatible.

Also, I had a G1 complete Defensor and a solo Hot Spot in the BST forum.

I think with a little work (like removing the decals and going for some more conservative striping/paint apps) they can blend in.

I like Menatron- the Menasor that comes with two Technobots. The others are OK shelf adornment til I get a real one. Stay away from the Darkwing and Dreadwind KOs though.

I got the same type of thing at our Big Lots, although it was all the extensions, and no connecting body figures or actual hands, feet head etc..Lousy stickers, but the paint jobs I actually rather liked..
