If it's anything like the deepcover mold then it will be a pile of trash.

I'd prefer it if they didn't copy the box at all and gave it a bigger head.

Ouch. This KO hurts a bit more than others would since I actually did some work for that box art :I
I'd rather they not KO the toy AT ALL, but if they're KO'ing the box art too... yeah... that's not cool.

There's a bit of a difference between this and the KO Seekers in my mind.

Now, I'm going to acknowledge that a) I'm kinda defending why I bought those and deplore this, b) that yes, they're both attempts at exact MISB KOs, so they aren't different there, and c) that I own P/CP. But hear me out for a minute.

The Seekers are characters who are pretty popular, and at the time were hard to get a hold of. People were willing to settle for KOs, and the main market seemed to be people who wanted something to stick on the shelf to complete their Seeker set.

P/CP on the other hand is a less popular character. More of a niche one, and I'd argue has more value to people as a collectible than as a "would be nice to have one to finish the set". This is a figure more likely to go for a lot of money on eBay.

Again, I'm kinda justifying own hypocrisy here (or trying to anyway).

I wouldn't mind a Punch/Counterpunch KO, but if CHMS isn't going to change the box AT ALL; then they ain't getting my money.

Another issue with Punch/Counterpunch getting KOed - whether or not the figure had a box reproduction, it's a RESEALABLE package.

This is a figure that could actually be put in a legit box and sold as the real deal without anyone knowing any better.

Yeah, I have no plans to buy this. But like I said, if they ARE going to KO it anyway, don't bother with the box and put that cost into upsizing the head.

    Is the head extremely small?

Extremely? Debatable. It was definitely smaller than anyone liked/wanted.

EDIT: Generally speaking, lest the handful of people who liked it that tiny come in and get angry. The sculpt itself was EXCELLENT, it was just too small for the body.

I just looked it up, and yea... I can see where people are coming from who think it's a tad small.

Definitely wish I was collecting when this came out... that thing is gorgeous...

Yea, it is not that the head is way too small (though it is a little goofy) as much as it is how cool the sculpt would have been had it been made the right size. It was an awesome idea, that could have made an incredible figure.

As far as the figure goes, It would have been nice if they had fixed the head, and if the quality is as bad as deep cover, there will be a lot of upset people. While I love the look of Deep Cover, I transformed it once (including changing around arm pieces that were on the wrong arms, picked up all the pieces that fell off), and placed it on the shelf never to be touched again. The foot on in is busted up where it swivels, and all kinds of other pieces are jacked up. While this may fill in for P/CP for those who don't have him, don't expect it to be anything great.
