Exactly my thoughts

 

They are extremely blatantly yellow. The reason I painted my figure with gold was because I didn't have yellow paint and gold is better than yellow. But the character model is obviously yellow. How can people be claiming they are gold...

 

Ideally you'd get that shiny yellow as used for UN-07 Bumblebee, but that shade isn't easy to find nor create.

 

Gold. Yellow looks dumb.

Exactly what I was wondering and posted about it in my earlier post. If people can't see how obviously yellow those rims are they are either color blind or it's just wishful thinking.

And I'm sure someone will find where the rims are a color called gold but as a Steelers fan, my team is called the black and gold and anyone who knows who the Steelers are knows that is a bright yellow.

Gold is a shade of yellow. So there are many variations of gold (or yellow depending on who's naming it) but it is quite apparent that the "gold crowd" here is referring to the shade that resembles metallic gold. And if that's the case, many of you are crazy!! LOL

Seriously though, all the scenes in the show are bright yellow. You really can't argue the fact that show accuracy is yellow, not gold. Again, that's what Knockout would want. That bright yellow stands out, shows off the other colors and gets him notice much better than metallic gold ever would.

 

Mix yellow and gold together, everybody wins!

 

I think I've changed my mind. Looking at that screenshot, they're definitely yellow. They're closer to being true yellow than BUMBLEBEE.

 

It's extremely close, even by the purest, literal gold standard. Gold gives a brilliance that yellow doesn't.

 

So the numbers are pretty even, but the yellows seem to basing their decisions on hard facts. They also seem to post a lot more than gold. After all, I am a sucker for accuracy.

I don't understand how people are coming up with gold. Just looking at the very few pics in this thread alone it's obviously yellow.

But yellow doesn't mean cheap; it's just high end pimp my ride yellow.

Nope. Gold is the better choice. Yellow makes no sense and it looks extremely tacky. No way Knockout would allow that.

It's yellow,not gold. Gold wouldn't stand out as much as yellow does now.And the whole "Knock out would choose gold because that's the best color" argument comes out of nowhere and is complete and utter bull....Just look at his rims when he's on screen.Where the hell do you see gold?It is YELLOW.

Seems pretty clear that it's yellow. Yellow is brighter than gold.
