I say yellow. But I've seen pictures of Deluxe KO Painted with gold rims and it looks nice. But I'm all for show accuracy.

Gold, only because Knockout wouldn't be satisfied with yellow.

Definitely yellow. I don't get it when people paint them gold.

Probably yellow with gold flake, but I guess none of that matters now, what with him literally getting banged outa the tunnel by a train.

How would one mimic a gold flake on yellow with paint?

And is it even possible on such tiny tires? lol

I plan on using a very yellow-ish gold. I think it looks better, even if it's not totally show-accurate.

Knockout is all about appearance. I guess it could be gold.

If you want show accuracy, put him in a blender.

from the screenshot alone, you can see that they're yellow. If his rims are gold, then that means Bumblebee is a golden muscle car, which I'm sure we all agree he isn't. but I agree that gold looks nice on him, so if youre painting a deluxe, just pimp it out with the shiny gold

Anyone can see they are yellow in every scene of the show where you can see them. Yellow, easily.

And my response to those who think "Knockout wouldn't want yellow he'd only settle for gold" that is crazy. We aren't talking about solid gold rims versus yellow painted rims. We are talking about gold paint versus yellow paint. Either of which is going to be high grade automotive paint, thus one has no more value than the other. They are both paint. And even if you want to say that "it may be just paint but gold represents GOLD!" Um, we have no idea, never stated or implicated anywhere that I know of that transformers have a preference to the element gold as much as humans do. Nothing about them makes us think the gold is at all important to them.

So, as seen on the show, obviously yellow. And yellow does fit his persona. Yellow goes with the maroon/burgandy color much better than gold would. Gold would just kind of hide whereas yellow stands out and makes a statement.

I compared Knock Out's "yellow" to Bumblebee's yellow in that screenshot and Knock Out's "yellow" looks more like gold than regular yellow.

Yellow. Gold would be a darker hue and not show up nearly as brightly as yellow in those night shot pictures.

Unless we're talking about the toy, in which case, the small bits where he has anything close to yellow on his hood/chest are actually gold, and as a result are not NEARLY as noticeable as they would be if just a matte yellow.
