Supposedly they're pretty decent quality. I've heard if these do well there are plans to do other colors, including a blue Powered Convoy to match the FP armor.

This CONVOY was planned with the prize product of a magazine for Japanese infants before. Acquisition is terrible in five, and the number of the lotteries is difficult.

I'd find a Ko of this mold very useful to mount Fan Projects armours on, are they intercompatible in that way?
I though I saw someone showing ofMagnus & Nemesis fakes recently.
There'd be little demand for these if Hasbro issued the mold again themselves.

I'm just waiting for someone else to start passing these off as the real thing. Aside from someone who already is.

Chrome has little to do with the price. I see chromed knock-offs in the dollar stores all the time. This is a bootleg of a $20 toy so realistically it should cost about 5 bucks. It's $60 because they know people would rather pay $60 than thousands.

It'd look kind of silly in one of the FP Commander armor sets. Most of the gold would be covered up.

Now if someone were to make a gold plated Commander armor... that would be special.

WOW I didn't realize this wasn't reported yet. Considering that I'll never shell out the kind of money it takes to get a real LD and I'll probably never actually be lucky enough to win one... this is a good alternative to me :D

    yeah i hear ya.

one thing mike has said some difference are the KOLD has larger autobot symbols and there is no copyright on the figure.

so if you ask someone to take a pic of it and you get one that has no copyright, than you got screwed.
